Pushaw slaps sob story of Miami Herald layoffs with hardcore reality: ‘Try doing journalism’

Christina Pushaw, rapid response director for Florida Governor Ron DeSantis, is having a difficult time feeling any pity for Miami Herald employees who were recently laid off by the local news outlet.

A user named One Herald Guild took to Twitter to voice their disapproval of the situation, claiming that the layoffs will mean that many big stories, specifically those related to the growing Miami tech scene, will go uncovered.

Despite the sky-is-falling tone adopted by the tweets, Pushaw just couldn’t muster any tears.

“Try doing journalism. Nobody wants to pay you for your left wing political activism, we hear that all day for free,” she responded.
