Twitter takes AOC on a trip down memory lane when she rags on Trump for ‘intimidating’ judge

U.S. Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, D-N.Y., a member of the party that condoned and in some cases supported the recent campaign of terror outside the homes of U.S. Supreme Court justices, slammed Donald Trump on Tuesday for “intimidating a judge.”

The politically-inspired overreaction was in response to Trump’s speech Tuesday evening at Mar-a-Lago, following his indictment earlier in the day in New York City on trumped-up charges being brought by Democratic prosecutor Alvin Bragg, who campaigned on the vow that he would use his office to get the former president.

“I have a Trump-hating judge with a Trump-hating wife and family, whose daughter worked for Kamala Harris and now receives money from the Biden-Harris campaign,” Trump said in his remarks.

AOC shrieked: “He is publicly intimidating a judge and pointing a spotlight on their family to his supporters – many of whom have admitted in court to committing violence in his name. He knows what he’s doing.”

Trump’s comments came after Judge Juan Merchan, who is presiding over the case and did not issue an initial gag order, asked that he “refrain from making statements that are likely to incite violence or civil unrest, or jeopardize the safety or well-being of any individuals.”

Washington Post fact-checker Glenn Kessler got in on the game when he claimed, “Both Trump sons have now posted photos of the judge’s adult daughter. Totally irrelevant — and obviously intended to intimidate.”

Turns out, that is not entirely true. The Trump brothers tweeted a Daily Mail article on how Merchan’s daughter worked for Kamala Harris and the photos auto-populated.

As for Ocasio-Cortez, social media users took her on a trip down memory lane, reminding the socialist of her own action toward judges — including the time she mocked Supreme Court Justice Brett Kavanaugh after an assassin was arrested near his home.

Here’s a quick sampling of responses to the story from Twitter:
