A protester allegedly tossed eggs at the United Kingdom’s King Charles III and Camilla, the Queen Consort, during a Wednesday meet-and greet known in the parlance as a walkabout in the city of York in northern England.
Charles, 73, remained poised through the incident that may have been prompted by woke ideology.
Local police reportedly arrested a 23-year-old man “on suspicion of a public order offense,” the BBC reported. The news outlet added that the suspect allegedly shouted “this country was built on the blood of slaves” as he was detained and hustled away to a police van.
There apparently were no direct egg hits, however, on the royal couple as they were greeted by dignitaries.
Watch:
The way King Charles did not even break a sweat over that man throwing egg is the prize for me.😂😂The Royal family is made of stronger stuff than politicians, thats for sure. There will always be one 🤡, So 😎

According to the Daily Mail, the suspect is allegedly an Extinction Rebellion environmental activist and former Green Party candidate.
Extinction Rebellion members often engage in performative activities such as blocking roads.
“He has been arrested several times and convicted once with Extinction Rebellion for obstructing a highway after taking part in protests blocking newspaper printing presses,” London’s Express news organization asserted, describing the man as a “tree hugger” and a gardening aficionado.
The protester also allegedly has a long track record in left-wing politics.
Royal family fans watching from behind barricades who were more supportive of the monarchy shouted “God save the King” and “shame on you” as police officers cuffed the man and took him into custody.
Other protesters reportedly held “Not my King” signs.
Charles travels with 24/7 bodyguards in addition to cops who are usually present for any public event where a royal draws a crowd.
He and his wife visited York in connection with the unveiling of a new statue of Charles’ mother, Queen Elizabeth II.
The long-reigning and beloved monarch died on September 8 at the age of 96, at which time her son automatically ascended to the throne. An official coronation ceremony is scheduled for May 6 at Buckingham Palace in London.

The flinch-free King, who was previously married to the late Princess Diana, is reportedly trying to make himself more open to the British public.
“King Charles has been a very accessible figure to crowds of well-wishers. He’s been shaking hands, swapping jokes and literally become a hands-on monarch during his walkabouts. The King seems to have enjoyed the warmth of the response, such as when he met people in the days following the death of his mother…But there’s a trade-off between security and being visible to people, and these can be informal and hard-to-control events, with little separation between the King and the crowds,” the BBC explained.
All suspects are presumed innocent until or unless they are convicted in a court of law of any alleged crimes.
