The thoroughly dishonest media has been doing all that it can to concoct a narrative that former President Donald J. Trump and Florida Governor Ron DeSantis are at war and on Election Day, CNN got caught spreading misinformation before walking it back.
During Tuesday’s marathon coverage of the midterm elections that are absolutely critical to the Democrat one-party rule, reporters swarmed Trump after he had cast his ballot at a Palm Beach polling location, peppering him with questions about his big announcement next Tuesday as well as if he cast his ballot for DeSantis.
Even though multiple media sources had reported that Trump had indeed voted for his potential 2024 GOP rival, the self-proclaimed “most trusted name in news” denied that was the case with co-anchor Alisyn Camerota telling viewers that “He did not answer when asked if he voted for Governor Ron DeSantis who as you’ll remember he called a name, he designated with a nickname a couple of days ago but he didn’t answer that question.”
Camerota was referring to Trump’s dissing of DeSantis as “Ron DeSanctimonious” during a campaign rally in Pennsylvania over the weekend but she was also brazenly lying.
Video of the question being asked of Trump that CNN omitted from their segment clearly shows Trump answering audibly that yes, he did vote for DeSantis.

The suggestion that Trump would not vote for the Sunshine State Republican was an implication that he, instead, voted for the hapless party-jumper Charlie Crist, a suggestion so asinine that only a regular viewer of CNN would believe that such a thing was possible.
Later in the segment, Camerota admitted that Trump did answer the question but did it so quietly that they didn’t hear it, a statement that just doesn’t pass the smell test when compared with the video that would have obviously been available to CNN.
“Guys, we have to leave it there but I also should mention that off camera, at least off the part that we heard, former President Trump did say that he voted for Ron DeSantis today,” she said. “So we couldn’t hear that part but I’m told from people on the ground that that is what he said.”
“He said it quietly,” Camerota added.
Even before their coming spin on irregularities, delayed vote reporting, and accusing critics of election shenanigans of being conspiracy theorists, the credibility of CNN and other corrupt, overtly partisan media outlets has never been lower in the eyes of millions of Americans who after years of lies, distortions and “mistakes” that always go the same way, just don’t trust them to be honest purveyors of information in the finest traditions of the American free press, a now extinct species.
As for friction between Trump and DeSantis, with both men being the top likely White House contenders in 2024 that would be inevitable and anyone who remembers Trump’s manhandling of the entire GOP field in 2016 – particularly Jeb Bush and Ted Cruz – during the primaries, it’s just the way that the ultra-competitive ex-POTUS rolls.
