Elon Musk shares AOC ‘hot take’ after ‘Avengers’ star Mark Ruffalo backs her ‘free speechy’ take

The feud between billionaire Elon Musk and Democrat Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez progressed another step forward Saturday when the billionaire called out the congresswoman for essentially being perpetually full of bullschiff.

This latest round of the beef started Thursday when Ocasio-Cortez posted a tweet claiming her Twitter had stopped functioning correctly in the wake of their beef.

The following morning, radically far-left Hollywood actor Mark Ruffalo rushed to her rescue like a white knight.

“Elon. Please—for the love of decency—get off Twitter, hand the keys over to someone who does this as an actual job, and get on with running Tesla and SpaceX. You are destroying your credibility. It’s just not a good look,” he tweeted to Musk.

Musk fired back a day later with fewer than 10 pithy words.

“Hot take: not everything AOC says is [100 percent] accurate,” he tweeted.

Look:

It was a fairly accurate take. Ocasio-Cortez has been telling tall tales since she first ran for office in 2018. Back then she falsely portrayed herself as someone who’d grown up in the Bronx.

“The state of Bronx public schools in the late 80s and early 90s sent her parents on a search for a solution. She ended up attending public school 40 minutes north in Yorktown, and much of her life was defined by the 40 minute commute between school and her family in the Bronx,” the biography on her website originally read.

But according to a profile of her published by The New York Times, while it was true Ocasio-Cortez was born in the Bronx, when she was five her father relocated their family to a home in Yorktown Heights, an upscale suburb in Westchester County with a median income of $95,523. That effectively made her an upper middle class girl.

Yet when conservatives rightly drew attention to this discrepancy, she caught an attitude and fired back, accusing them of trying to “strip me of my family, my story, my home, and my identity.”

She’s been telling tall tales ever since — most recently this past summer, when she tried to justify the public harassment of Supreme Court Justice Brett Kavanaugh by falsely asserting that he’d made it illegal to treat ectopic pregnancies in a number of states.

Right after a story emerged that the justice had been harassed at a restaurant, the congresswoman tweeted, “Poor guy. He left before his soufflé because he decided half the country should risk death if they have an ectopic pregnancy within the wrong state lines. It’s all very unfair to him. The least they could do is let him eat cake.”

It was a lie.

“Treating ectopic pregnancies is still legal in all states where abortion is banned, despite media personalities, celebrities and even elected officials spreading false information about its legality following the Supreme Court’s overturning of Roe v. Wade,” Fox News reported at the time.

“An ectopic pregnancy is when a fertilized egg implants outside the uterus, typically in one of the woman’s fallopian tubes. It’s a rare complication, occurring in only about 1.5% of all pregnancies, and can be life-threatening if left untreated. The pregnancy is never viable, and the most common way to treat it is through medication to end the pregnancy or through surgery to remove it,” Fox News added.

The beef between Musk and Ocasio-Cortez originally emerged early last week when the congresswoman complained publicly about the $8 fee he intends to charge for Twitter users to obtain a blue check mark.

“Lmao at a billionaire earnestly trying to sell people on the idea that ‘free speech’ is actually a $8/mo subscription plan,” she tweeted last Tuesday.

Never mind that people would still be able to use Twitter for free — just without a fancy blue check mark that offers access to a few luxury features.

Musk responded by trolling her.

“Your feedback is appreciated, now pay $8,” he jokingly tweeted, earning over one million likes:

Soon after, Ocasio-Cortez starting trotting out phantom Twitter malfunctions she was experiencing. But as Musk demonstrated his the tweet he posted Saturday, he’s not falling for her fake narratives and bullschiff.
