Now that the political picture is coming into focus just days before the midterm elections, it is obvious that Democrats made a serious strategic error with their soft-on-crime policies and making excuses for the violent race riots that raged across the country two summers ago as voters prepare to make their voices heard about the dangerous environments that exist in their cities.
With it being far too late for a course correction on crime, Dem politicians do what they do best by lying and gaslighting the public that the carnage in the streets is merely a figment of their own imagination and when it comes to liars, few are more well-versed in the art of the fib than Hillary Clinton.
The twice-failed presidential candidate campaigned on behalf of New York Governor Kathy Hochul who may be on the brink of losing the election largely because of the rampant crime in her state’s biggest city, a sprawling metropolis where Democrat leaders have all but held an official ceremony handing the key to the city to murderers, rapists, thieves, drug dealers and thugs, telling the crowd that Republicans have “no solutions” and their hard-hitting ads are just “scary pictures and scary music.”
Accompanied by Vice President Kamala Harris – who in 2020 promoted a fund that bailed violent rioters out of jail – Clinton stumped for the unelected Hochul at Manhattan’s Barnard College, saying of Republicans, “They don’t care about keeping you safe, they want to keep you scared, so you keep voting against your interests.”

The sore loser and election denier bemoaned that Republican candidates, including Rep. Lee Zeldin who is running against Hochul, have been churning out “ads about crime every 30 seconds.”
“And of course, I want everybody to stay safe. Honestly. Who’s against that?” Clinton said.
“But then a terrible crime happens in San Francisco – an intruder hits an 82-year-old man in the head with a hammer, who happens to be married to the Speaker of the House, and the Republicans joke about it,” she continued, referring to last week’s beating of Paul Pelosi in his San Francisco home, an incident that remains murky with officials refusing to release surveillance and police bodycam video that could clear up lingering questions.
Clinton also shoveled her malarkey about crime being more prevalent in red states, a Democrat talking point that distracts from the horrific conditions in New York City, Philadelphia, Baltimore, Chicago, Minneapolis, New Orleans Los Angeles, San Francisco, Portland and Seattle where criminals have been emboldened by her party’s policies and law-abiding citizens risk their safety every time that they venture out in public.
During an appearance on CNN’s “New Day” on Thursday morning, Clinton responded to a Don Lemon question on voter concern with crime.
“Look, I mean crime should be a concern, I mean I don’t care where it happens or what it is, I want people to be safe,” she said. “That’s not the Republicans’ argument, because of course if you look at real crime statistics which they’re not interested in examining, the states with the highest crime levels are states run by Republicans. That’s just a fact!”
“When they talk about crime, you know, they’re just trying to gin up all kinds of fear and anxiety in people. They’re not dealing with it, they’re not trying to tackle it and so I view it as an effort to scare voters…,” she added.

The embittered hatemonger also invoked the Pelosi assault on CNN, “I want to say one word about this emphasis on crime that we’ve seen in every ad that I’ve run across from the Republicans,” she said. “I find it ironic and frankly disturbing that when Paul Pelosi is attacked by an intruder in his own home with a hammer, the Republicans go silent about that crime.”
While Clinton will be able to easily bamboozle her party’s own base and some gullible swing voters with her reality-defying spin that dismisses the crime wave in Democrat-controlled areas, Twitter users were unimpressed and took to the digital town square to subject Clinton to a virtual stoning, pelting her with rejections of the misleading narrative that she’s trying to promote.

Unfortunately for Clinton and her fellow Democrat gaslighters, voters aren’t stupid and they are about to receive a harsh lesson about underestimating the intelligence of those who have been victimized by their criminal-coddling policies.
