It looks like the joke is on so-called comedian Stephen Colbert for engaging in pre-election denial about something that really happened.
In a media fact check, it turns out that the Democrat propagandist masquerading as a CBS late-night entertainment host falsely claimed that Michigan gubernatorial hopeful Tudor Dixon “totally made up” a story that goes to parental rights vs. stubborn, woke school boards.
Colbert lamely tried to ridicule Dixon for recalling in a debate against lockdown-loving incumbent Dem Gov. Gretchen Whitmer that a concerned dad approached her about finding inappropriate content in school libraries.
“I am real,” the man declared on social media, however, challenging “Late Show” luminary Colbert to stop denying that he exists and, by implication, that he should do his homework, i.e., show prep, on time.
“I had a gentleman come up to me just a few nights ago, and he said, ‘I found content in my school library describing how to have sex to my son,” Dixon said in a debate clip that the show, which is really an infomercial for the progressive agenda, played.
This prompted Colbert to skeptically quip, “Okay, fine, ‘that happened,’ motioning air quotes with his hands, as his liberal audience of trained seals laughed.
In the hardly humorous riff which unfortunately goes on for a little longer and doesn’t get any better, the haughty host appeared sarcastically dismissive, like a good liberal, of the legitimate concerns of grassroots parents.
The emcee also asserted, without evidence, that Tudor Dixon’s MAGA positions are unpopular in Michigan.
In a total rebuke to Colbert, moreover, the Detroit Free Press interviewed the man, a father of five from Dearborn, Mich., and former “loyal Democrat” who has already made himself known on Facebook.
Colbert was apparently unaware, too, that Dearborn, to date, is a solid blue enclave.
Khalil Othman previously explained on Facebook that he is switching to the red team because “the situation with sexually explicit material in the schools was for me a bridge too far” and that he personally spoke with Tudor Dixon “and dozens of her [respectful] supporters” after a rally where Dixon spoke extensively about parental rights, particularly as it relates to this issue.
“I announce today that I hereby divorce the Democrat party and I STAND WITH PARENTS!!”
In an article published on Wednesday, Othman told the Free Press that “To claim that I’m not here, I don’t exist, I’m not human, that’s absolute ignorance. If this person did his due diligence and start researching or has his team do a little bit of research of who’s this person who attended Dixon’s rally, they will be able to find my name right away easy on social media. Just Google it.”
At the above-referenced rally, Othman said that “I am a proud Muslim American who expresses my values and concerns all the time. Dearborn has been voting Democrat blue for the last decade or two decades. But not anymore. On behalf of myself and my family, I guarantee you for sure that my family and my friends will vote for Republicans,” the Free Press reported.
Dixon has demanded an apology from Colbert, writing on Twitter that The Dearborn man I referenced in the debate is real, and his story is compelling, Does the unfunny [Colbert] have the courage to admit he was wrong and acknowledge him?”

The Trump-endorsed candidate also called out Colbert for his liberal elitism, the Daily Mail reported. “Here we are, having a very serious situation across Michigan, and the media arm of the Democrats is belittling this father and making fun of concerns, saying he’s not even real?
“Voters feel like they’ll be laughed at if they express their concerns….”

“I told his story (during the debate) of Othman to hundreds in Dearborn. and Stephen Colbert picks it up. And they make this whole skit about how this has never happened. That’s what he said, this story never happened. That’s where the Democrats are right now. You don’t exist, your stories are not important,” Dixon added.

You may remember how cringey Big Pharma fan Colbert pranced around last year with some performers dressed as syringes in an embarrassing bit that was also supposed to be humorous.
Meanwhile on Late Night F idiots… If you haven’t been convinced to “get the jab” by now, idiot Stephen Colbert and his dancing syringes will definitely do it. 🤡💉🕺💉#COVIDIOTS #COVID19 #CovidVaxExposed #LateNightIdiots pic.twitter.com/UleloDEtnQ
