The ongoing destruction of America by Democrats and particularly the Biden regime wrecking crew has led to some suggesting that the grave damage inflicted upon the nation is intentional and part of a sinister plan to bring the country down from within and a top GOP lawmaker also strongly suspects that may be the case.
Senator Tom Cotton appeared on Fox News where he discussed his new book, “Only the Strong: Reversing the Left’s Plot to Sabotage American Power,” with host Mark Levin, arguing that it isn’t merely a matter of coincidence or incompetence that has created a perfect storm of cultural, economic and geopolitical crises that threaten to permanently transform America into something that – while a utopia to revolutionary leftists – would be unrecognizable to those who still embrace traditional Western values.

On Sunday’s edition of “Life, Liberty and Levin,” the Arkansas Republican and combat veteran told the host that he was inspired to write his book after the Biden administration’s essential surrender of Afghanistan to the terrorist Taliban last year.
“I had so many Americans asking me, how did we let this happen? How did we lose to a band of medieval savages?” Cotton said, adding that he also was asked the question in a variety of “other forms” as well.
“Like, how did we let left-wing radicals rampage in our streets in the summer of 2020, tearing down statues of our heroes like George Washington and Abraham Lincoln and U.S. Grant?” Cotton said, referring to the violent race riots that erupted after career criminal and drug addict George Floyd was killed while resisting arrest.
“How we got to the point where we’re allowing schools to indoctrinate our kids with critical race theory or transgender ideology, where we’re subjecting troops in our military to similar kind of Maoist struggle sessions,” he added. “And what I want to tell the readers of ‘Only The Strong’ is this is not an accident, this is intentional.”
“The decline that they sense in America is decline by design,” he said as he laid out his case against a party that went from simply being wrongheaded to extreme and brazenly anti-American since the ascendance of Barack Obama.
Cotton was also strongly critical of President Joe Biden’s foreign policy, especially concerning communist China, before he turned to the matter of the midterm elections.

“We can’t afford to let any of these radicals win,” Cotton said of the extremist candidates that Dems are running in next week’s midterm elections, “because they will simply support the Obama-Biden ideological approach of sabotaging American power.”
“Weakening our military, contributing to more inflation, keeping our borders wide open, strangling American fossil fuel production,” he added. “All of these are the sources of American power as I explained in ‘Only The Strong,’ all of these things are on the ballot next week in the election. That’s why it’s so important that we elect Republican majorities in the House and the Senate to begin to put a curb on the radical democratic ideological agenda.”
Levin then asked, “What is the purpose today of the Democrat Party other than take down the United States as it exists?”
“I believe you see that to their more incautious statements. Now, their political leadership won’t say that publicly because they want to win elections, just like Joe Biden pretending that he wants to lower gas prices right now. Mark my words, on November 9th, the day after the election, they’ll once again renew their war on fossil fuels, and they’ll do so openly” he said.
“The Democratic Party, going back a hundred years, had at its intellectual and ideological core a deep ambivalence about America and an open hostility to American power. They think not only the world, but even America, would be better if we would simply pull in our horns, atone for our sins, apologize for our past and become what they consider a more normal nation,” Cotton said.
