Hillary’s new accusation GOP is ‘literally’ planning to steal 2024 election is vomit-inducing, says Gutfeld

Authoritarian, dictatorial Democrats were election deniers before it was considered uncool, and they’re hardly wasting any time in preemptively trying to erode confidence in both the 2022 and the 2024 vote.

That’s the message of a typically irreverent but very relevant Greg Gutfeld editorial on his eponymous Fox News show on Tuesday evening.

“Remember, just a few minutes ago, it was considered a threat to democracy to question the legitimacy of an election,” he declared. “And now, sensing defeat…[the anti-voter ID Dems] are saying that if they lose, it’s because the election was stolen.”

Gutfeld began his editorial in the video clip embedded above by ridiculing an off-putting social media message from a “vomit-inducing” Hillary Clinton about how “right-wing extremists already have a plan to literally steal the next presidential election,” a conspiracy theory that was actually a pitch for campaign donations to liberal candidates.

The use of the word literally is usually a tell for just the opposite.

The insomnia-suffering Clinton (according to her) also demeaned the “anachronistic” Electoral College, which is another example of how the left has become hostile to the U.S. Constitution.

Gutfeld pointed out the rank hypocrisy of Clinton (and others) complaining about possible GOP ballot victories that any allegation of a stolen election, circa 2020, “was worse than 9/11.”

He continued about Clinton’s illogic, if not short-term memory:

“She claims that the 2024 election, which is more than two years away, could already be undone by ‘evil Republicans’ who have the power to overturn presidential elections. But if that was true, which it’s not, the last election probably would have been the most likely time to wield such power, don’t you think?” he wondered rhetorically.

“Here she is; undermining a prized institution, our voting system, all to make a buck. This is worse than the Civil War, 9/11, and the ‘Full House’ reboot,” he joked.

Democrats have suddenly adopted a new rule of engagement, Gutfeld implied: “Democracy is only in peril when the Republicans complain about elections, but it’s never the reverse. And yet who are the real election tamperers? I mean, who pushed the [fake] dossier? Who pushed Russian collusion? Who buried the laptop story?…bring up the possibility of election malfeasance, you’re accused of playing into the ‘big lie’…”

Gutfeld also mocked “crazy-eyed” Clinton for her “Marty Feldman eyes,” in a reference to the beloved late comedian/actor.

“Imagine sitting next to that on a long flight,” he said about Hillary. “No wonder Bill preferred Epstein’s jet.”

The still-bitter Clinton accused Donald Trump of being an illegitimate president after she lost to him in 2016, and the Dems — some of whom in Congress objected to the Electoral College certification of Trump’s win — engaged in witch-hunting, which was a major roadblock for President Trump’s America First agenda during his term in office.

Gutfeld also called out MSNBC, The Washington Post, and the liberal mean girls who host “The View” (which he quipped was “the museum of head injuries”) for pushing a similar narrative.

“They pounce on Ted Cruz for questioning election results after the Dems, including the Dems on ‘The View,’ do the same thing.”

Democrats have accused former President Trump of articulating the so-called big lie about the 2020 election outcome.

As Gutfeld’s colleague Tucker Carlson recently noted, as a general principle, on the Will Cain podcast, “dishonest people always impute dishonest motives to other people.”
