The future of America if Democrats are able to maintain one-party control over the federal government can be seen in a shocking video from downtown Los Angeles depicting human misery in conditions of squalor that could become the new normal, especially if California Governor Gavin Newsom ends up in the White House.
In the footage that was captured by conservative commentator Benny Johnson and posted to Twitter, the scenes more resembled the slums of a third-world country than the streets of a city that was once seen as one of the finest in America but, like so many others, has been completely destroyed by liberal politicians and their failed progressive policies that have led to homelessness, drug addiction, and rampant crime.
“I drove through downtown LA today, and what I saw shocked me to the core,” Johnson says in the video that he posted to Twitter on Sunday. “LA is a sunken place. There were stray dogs everywhere roaming the streets, there was burned down, destroyed businesses on every corner, and there were city parks that were overtaken by homeless encampments but what really shocked the soul was seeing the human suffering.”
I just drove through downtown L.A.
What is saw shocked me to the core.
3rd world conditions on *every* block. Tent cities. Filth. Drugs. People digging through, living in and eating trash. Broken lives everywhere.
This is not America.

“People digging through garbage, in the street, living in complete squalor, third world dehumanizing conditions you’ve never seen in America,” Johnson said in the four-and-a-half-minute video that underscores what is truly at stake in the rapidly approaching midterm elections and beyond as the political left moves forward with its ruinous transformative agenda.
“This is a video I took just driving down a random street in downtown LA,” he narrated. “This is how people live in the City of Angels, this is the end result of policies that break people, dehumanize people, and destroy people.”
“So the question needs to be asked who’s to blame for all this?” Johnson continued. “Who caused this? Well, Los Angeles has been a single-party-run state for the last 70 years. Democrat policies that masquerade as human rights policies are actually cruel. They trod and destroy and erode the economic stability of a place, and bring it to its natural conclusion which is a third world style totalitarian Marxism where the average man or woman gets treated like garbage, gets treated worse than an animal.”
In a second video posted of the decayed ruins of the city, Johnson rebutted those who might claim that the footage has been selectively edited.
“If your frail psyche does not allow you to *cope* with the failed policies of your preferred political party and instead you comment ‘this is edited!’ know that I took hours of footage just like this,” he wrote. “You may refuse to see the destruction of America – but I will not look away.”

Twitter users reacted to the persuasive video showing America’s ultimate destination if voters don’t get off the road to hell that’s been paved by Democrats.

Unfortunately, it is America in Democrat controlled cities and states. My hometown. Every time I visit, I’m shocked beyond belief.

Worse than third world countries. Yet they send all the money to Ukraine and other countries.

Where are all the Hollywood elites that pride themselves on helping people in need. The rich who say they send money to charities? Oh, yes they send it to other countries. Where is red cross etc. Stop donating money to organizations that do nothing. It’s all lies.

Walking through the fashion district last November in LA, I felt like I was back in Iraq in 2004 when I did my first of 3 tours! It’s disgusting and outright discouraging and sad, walking through sewage water, needles everywhere. Definitely NOT SAFE! @bennyjohnson

Joe Biden’s America has been a complete nightmare but Gavin Newsom’s America would be exponentially worse.
