Jesse Watters says he’s ‘impressed’ by Dems’ strategy after Jan 6 circus stunt, wishes GOP was as devious

Thursday’s dismal economic figures were a pre-election body blow to President Joe Biden whose false claims that inflation was under control were exposed as more of the same malarkey shoveled by the most dishonest administration in history but a January 6 committee bombshell knocked the very important news out of the headlines.

During its latest hearing, the Nancy Pelosi-Liz Cheney joint venture descended into pure political theatrics with a unanimous vote to subpoena former President Donald Trump, a previously unannounced move that had Fox News anchor Jesse Watters marveling at the cynical party’s ability to use its rigged kangaroo court as a shiny object to distract from the issues that truly matter to real people in their daily lives.

On Thursday’s edition of “The Five,” Watters and the crew discussed the latest Consumer Price Index that showed inflation clocking in at 8.2 percent for the month of September compared to last year, 0.4 percent greater than August, numbers that blew a smoking hole in the manufactured narrative of the White House and its media stooges that things really aren’t as bad as they seem, and how the bad news was obscured by the J6 committee’s smokescreen.

“I am impressed with the Democrats and I don’t always say that, but they are so devious, they’re so deceptive, they plot, they plan, they deceive,” he began. “They knew this print was going to probably print hot today on inflation, and they timed this perfectly, because this is going to blow out the inflation lead on the nightly news channels, and it is may be a one-day thing, but they got what they wanted.”

“I sometimes wish that the Republicans could be as crafty as this,” Watters added. “They were pretty crafty with the migrant flights to the Vineyard, but they have to counter punch huge. The bottom line is that everyone’s losing money under Joe Biden, they’re losing it from their paychecks, they’re losing it from the stock market, people are losing their lives, we’re losing our border, little kids are losing their gender because they get stuffed in classrooms with grooming teachers.”

“That has nothing to do, today, with everything else that the American public is experiencing,” he said. “This Trump thing, doesn’t affect anybody, and the Democrats know that, but they don’t want to solve any of the problems that they have created, they want to distract you with Trump so that you don’t think as much about all of the problems that they have created.”

“They’re not about the people, they’re about the power and that’s why they did to the Saudis, what they impeached Trump for,” he continued, referring to what should the scandalous revelation that Biden failed in an attempt to convince Saudi Arabia to hold off on announcing OPEC oil production cuts until after the midterms. “Remember, they said ‘I’m going to withhold military aid to an ally in exchange for a political favor,’ what’s the favor? ‘Oh, going to put more oil before the midterms and help the Democrats.”

“They’re actually blatantly announcing the shakedown, the quid pro quo, but no one cares, no one cares at all,” he said. “It’s funny, because I would actually give them credit, you know if they want to investigate stuff and look back at stuff, let’s do it, but they only want to look back at January 6th. They don’t want to look back at the origins of COVID, they don’t want to look back to where all the money went that we gave the teachers. They don’t want to look at the Afghan debacle, they don’t want to look at Hunter’s laptop, they don’t want to know anything that happened yesterday as long as it’s named January 6th.”

The vote to subpoena Trump brought a seeming end to a grossly overhyped spectacle that was ushered in with a bang four months ago and has now ended with a pathetic whimper with the sham committee likely to be disbanded if as expected, the GOP retakes the House, but until that happens, it will continue to serve as a useful tool to dupe the suckers into voting against their own economic self-interest.
