Biden regime weaponizes against DeSantis, US Treasury to audit use of funds for immigrant busing

The Biden regime has officially targeted another top Republican political opponent with the opening of an investigation into Florida Governor Ron DeSantis and the transport of over four dozen illegal immigrants to swanky, ultra-white Martha’s Vineyard last month, a move that Democrats took deeply personal as it exposed their hypocrisy over sanctuary cities.

In another chilling example of the weaponization of the state against political enemies of the ruling Democrat Party which has unleashed the full power of the federal government on those who oppose it, the Treasury Department’s inspector general notified Massachusetts Senator Ed Markey that it would be conducting an audit of DeSantis and authorities in the Sunshine State as to whether they improperly used American Rescue Plan funds to defile the leftist elite’s very special island with brown people.

The move against DeSantis is the most brazen move since Attorney General Merrick Garland dialed up the storming of former President Trump’s Mar-a-Lago residence by heavily-armed FBI agents in August, a move that led to conservatives denouncing President Joe Biden’s latest foray into the realm of third-world dictatorships.

According to a letter dated October 7 from Treasury Department Deputy Inspector General Richard K. Delmar to Markey and other Massachusetts Democrats, the feds are zeroing in on DeSantis, a GOP rock star who is widely seen as the most serious threat to Biden’s continued occupation of the White House if Trump doesn’t run in 2024.

“As part of its oversight responsibilities for the State and Local Fiscal Recovery Fund, The Treasury Office of the Inspector General has audit work planned on recipients’ compliance with eligible use guidance,” the letter which was made public on Wednesday reads: “In addition, as part of our oversight work of the Coronavirus Relief Fund established by the CARES Act, we have already sought information from Florida about appropriate use of that fund.”

“We will review the allowability of use of SLFRF funds related to immigration generally, and will specifically confirm whether interest earned on SLFRF funds was utilized by Florida related to immigration activities, and if so, what conditions and limitations apply to such use,” according to the letter.

Markey took to Twitter to spike the ball.

“@USTreasury responded to my letter, confirming that it will investigate @GovRonDeSantis’ use of Covid relief funds to cruelly transport immigrants from Texas to Martha’s Vineyard under false pretenses and without any consideration for their personal dignity or basic needs,” the committed climate zealot wrote.

Boston-based firebrand Rep. Ayanna Pressley of the “Squad” also relished in the banana republic persecution of DeSantis whom she tweeted “must be held accountable for his unspeakable cruelty” in a tweet showing how, like with the Soviet Communist party, the Democrats have dispensed with traditional political solutions toward state persecution of their enemies.

As far as the “unspeakable cruelty,” Congresswoman Pressley didn’t utter so much as a peep when the bigoted inhabitants of Martha’s Vineyard watched as the military was called up to truck the migrants off of their precious and privileged island like so much unwanted garbage.

There are likely many who are licking their chops over the idea that DeSantis would join Trump in being indicted and hauled in front of a stacked D.C. jury for a show trial that Joseph Stalin himself, who seems to serve as a role model for the modern Democratic party, would be proud of.
