Kelly Rizzo welcomed her Instagram followers into her grief Sunday with a sweet tribute to her late husband.
Rizzo, who married comedian and actor Bob Saget in 2018, shared a throwback video with her 440,000 followers on Sunday, showing the couple working out together.
“[Nine] months without him,” Rizzo captioned the post. “It feels like forever and also one day all at the same time.”

Saget was found dead in his Orlando, Florida, Ritz-Carlton hotel room on January 9, following a standup appearance at the Ponte Vedra Concert Hall the prior evening. An autopsy revealed the “Full House” star, who had recently recovered from COVID-19, suffered a catastrophic fall resulting in fractures to his orbital sockets and head.
In her latest post for her husband, Rizzo discussed the ways grief changes with time and focused on the “joy” the couple shared during their 4-year marriage.
“I love looking back on these videos to see how much joy and silliness and fun and love we shared,” Rizzo wrote. “The pain and grief ebbs and flows and I still have some days that just suck and there are days that are lighter now too. But every day there is a palpable hole where he used to be. But at the same time he left behind SO much residual love and laughter that he still feels so near and present. It’s all quite an enigma.”
Rizzo’s post has received 44,000 likes since uploaded Sunday, with followers commenting on the love the duo shared and wishing Rizzo continued peace and condolences.
“As our anniversary nears later this month, I’ll share more thoughts, but for now I’ll leave you with this silly video. We had a blast making these. Miss you and love you so much, honey,” Rizzo closed the post.
The “Eat Travel Rock” host and executive producer has taken to social media several times since the death of her husband, writing in March that the outpouring of support has helped her hold on.
“Hi everyone,” Rizzo said in a Facebook Watch video, “I realized I haven’t talked to you in a very long time. It’s something I used to do all the time and I haven’t said hello in a very long time. So many people have shared their stories with me of the loss that you’ve been through, and you’ve poured out your heart, and it’s just really kind that you’ve tried to help me by sharing your stories.”
At that time, the blogger pointed out that she was new to the world of grief, and adapting to it publicly had been especially difficult.
“Even though I’m still very new to this world, I feel I’ve had kind of a crash course in it,” Rizzo said. “Especially doing it very publicly, it adds a whole other level that takes it to this different place that you understand in a certain way.”
