Kanye strikes again: ‘Everyone knows that Black Lives Matter was a scam. Now it’s over. You’re welcome’

Rapper, record producer and businessman Kanye West caused a major stir when he and conservative commentator Candace Owens showed up at a Paris fashion show wearing shirts emblazoned with the slogan “White Lives Matter,” but he upped the outrage by besmirching one of the left’s most sacred of all cows, the Black Lives Matter movement.

The 45-year-old celebrity who goes by the moniker of “Ye” smacked the hornet’s nest on Instagram with his opinion that BLM has been one giant grift, an idea that there is ample evidence to now support with the scandalous financial dealings of the organization that became sanctified during the summer of race riots following the death of career criminal and drug addict George Floyd.

“Everyone knows that Black Lives Matter was a scam. Now its over. You’re welcome,” wrote “Ye” in a since-deleted social media post that infuriated “woke” leftists still stewing over the “White Lives Matter” shirt.

Founded in 2013 following the shooting of black Florida teen Trayvon Martin by George Zimmerman, the organization specialized in demonizing law enforcement and whipping up racial resentment during the Obama years such as the 2014 incident where hulking teen Michael Brown, aka the “Gentle Giant”, was shot while trying to wrestle a gun away from a Ferguson, Missouri police officer, setting off weeks of unrest.

But it wasn’t until the 2020 “summer of love” after Floyd met his unfortunate demise at the hands of Minneapolis police while he was being arrested that the movement was mainstreamed, as violent riots swept the nation and the Marxist-inspired BLM agenda was embraced by politicians, the media, the entertainment industry, professional sports leagues and all of Corporate America that it hit it big, cashing in on anti-police sentiment and festering animosity toward white people.

However, the shine eventually waned on the BLM halo with a series of scandals involving top figures, including co-founder Patrisse Cullors and murky dealings such as a $6 million California mansion, which only served to validate West’s opinion that it was a scam.

West’s blasphemy struck a nerve with some who angrily lashed out.

But while his remarks had some howling angrily, others were completely down with his keen observation.

West is no stranger to controversy, often drawing the ire of the “woke” community for his off-the-cuff remarks and his relationship with former President Donald J. Trump.

Fox News Digital sought comment from both the Black Lives Matter organization and the Black Lives Matter Grassroots Organization, but reportedly, neither immediately responded.
