Grumpy Biden chides student loan giveaway critics, likens plan to COVID Paycheck Protection Program

President Joe Biden isn’t pleased with critics of his student loan debt write-off, grumpily sniping at Republicans and members of his own party over the controversial $400 billion giveaway which he likened to emergency relief during the COVID pandemic.

On Saturday, the cantankerous Biden spoke at the Phoenix Awards ceremony in Washington, an annual whoop-de-do sponsored by the Congressional Black Caucus, as friendly an audience as it gets for a Democrat and during his address to the roughly 3,000 in attendance, he pushed back against criticism of burdening taxpayers with paying off the college loans of the beneficiaries of his largesse.

“I don’t wanna hear a word from those members of Congress, you notice, whose families got tens of thousands of dollars and several million dollars in pandemic relief loan forgiveness,” Biden said.

‘The same ones criticizing,” he added. “Gimme a break, come on.”

Biden’s comparison of a politically motivated gift to student loan borrowers to the Paycheck Protection Program, a vital lifeline to small businesses that kept them from going under while also helping to keep millions of Americans employed during the darkest days of the pandemic when a fearful country was subjected to economically crippling lockdowns that would have been far worse if not for PPP.

Later in his speech, the divider in chief bashed Republicans for their opposition to the Orwellian-named Inflation Reduction Act, a gargantuan package chock full of liberal special interest pork, the worst elements of the transformative Green New Deal agenda and funding for an army of 87,000 new IRS agents to shakedown working Americans, a bill that was crammed down the throats of Americans under the reconciliation process with no GOP support, a fine example of the “democracy” that Biden and his ilk constantly pontificate about.

“Imagine being the parent of a child with Type One Diabetes knowing that if you don’t get that drug, if they don’t get that insulin, if they don’t get it on time, their health can be permanently damaged or they could die… It’s wrong!” Biden said. “We’re gonna do all this while reducing the deficit. I’m so sick of Republicans saying we’re the big spenders, give me a break. Give me a break.”

Twitter users reacted to Biden’s dishonest comparison.

Biden appears to be far and away the most brazenly dishonest president in U.S. history and is able to consistently lie with abandon thanks to the complete collapse of the free press.
