Fox News host Jesse Watters broke down the poor list of options the Democrats have in the way of material for their stump speeches this year.
“Jen Psaki just admitted her boss has a terrible record to run on and told elected Democrats to run away from Joe Biden,” said Watters Monday on “The Five.”
Watters was referring to comments the former press secretary made on NBC’s “Meet the Press”.
“If the election is… a referendum on the president,” she said, “they will lose, and they know that.”

“They’ve had two years with full control,” said Watters of the Democrats, “and their midterm message is Republicans are extremist, which is a hoax. That’s pretty crazy.”
He then went issue by issue.
“They can’t run on the infrastructure bill. They didn’t build anything. What else are they going to run on? Are they going to run on Covid relief? Everybody got Covid! It actually triggered inflation.”
Watters might have mentioned the lack of accountability with Covid relief and how easy it has been to defraud the programs, especially since Biden has asked for more Covid money in the upcoming Continuing Resolution spending package. Here’s one case of fraud:

Watters went on with his quick hits: “Are you gonna run on the Inflation Reduction Act? That didn’t reduce inflation at all. Are you going to run on the border? Border crossings are up. You gonna run on crime? Crime’s up.
“You gonna run on foreign policy? He disgraced us in Afghanistan. And there’s a land war in Europe. You can’t run on that. What are you going to run on? The economy. Stock market is down. Under Joe Biden, wages are down. Under Joe Biden, we’re losing money.”
Can any of this logic be touched with a compelling counterargument? Seems unlikely. So, what is the response from the Left? Watters addressed that, too.
“The media comes out, and they’re spinning polls like crazy. Oh, [Biden] has got momentum, the Democrats got the Republicans right where they want them.”
The problem with that logic, according to Watters, is what our eyes can see.
“Joe is just lying, he’s falling down, he’s losing us money. You’re looking at a Biden presidency that’s a total fraud. 81 million votes, he can’t even do a rally? The pool camera doesn’t pull out, because no one showed up. And the Biden rally is free.”
The segment also referred to a new WaPo/ABC poll that put Biden’s approval rating at 39%.
Co-host Greg Gutfeld said, “Only a dismal 39% approve of Biden’s performance in a new poll, and the majority of Democrats want the party to flat out dump him and pick someone else as their 2024 nominee.”
Ainsley Earhardt agreed.
“I think it all comes down to the issues. We see that in every election. Whatever the issues are that are most important to the country, that’s the party that will win. Right now the Republicans are doing well,” she said.
She pointed out the WaPo poll saying that “All the issues that Republicans care about are the number one issues.”
“The things that are issues for the Democrats – they hate Trump, so January 6. They love the environment and abortion. They want everybody to be able to have an abortion. Those are their top three issues, but those are not America’s issues,” asserted Earhardt.
