Speaker Nancy Pelosi dropped by a New York City music festival where attendees were entertained by the likes of Maria Carey, Metallica and the Jonas Brothers but some fans were less than enthusiastic about her surprise appearance.
In a video of Madame Speaker’s ascension to the stage, the octogenarian Democrat who was dressed in a white pantsuit, appeared to be loudly booed by some in attendance at this year’s Global Citizen Festival in Central Park on Saturday.
“As speaker of the house, I am here to thank you for your dazzling advocacy, entrepreneurial thinking, and determination as global citizens,” she told the crowd, the New York Post reported.
Pelosi also sermonized about climate change, still basking in the glory of the Orwellian-titled “Inflation Reduction Act” that despite its dishonest name, contained billions in pork for liberal pet projects, funding for 87,000 new IRS agents to be unleashed to shakedown hard-working Americans as well as being a Trojan horse for the worst elements of the Green New Deal.

“It’s thanks to your help that the United States recently enacted historic climate legislation, which will be a game changer,” Pelosi said as members of the audience became restive. “It will slash carbon pollution by 40% by 2030, it will give a historic, an historic $370 billion to fight the climate crisis.”
In footage from the event that has been making the rounds on social media, some concertgoers didn’t take kindly to having their enjoyment of the music rudely interrupted for a partisan political speech by Pelosi.

According to the New York Post, “As boos and cheers continued, several hecklers are heard yelling “let’s go!” Apparently looking for the evening’s entertainment to resume,” but Pelosi droned on and on that the Democrats’ obscene bill will provide “better water and air for our children” as well as “better-paying jobs and lower energy bills for their parents.”
A longer clip of Pelosi’s unwanted interruption was also posted online.

Pelosi finally brought an end to the misery inflicted on music fans, closing “by saying her grandchildren Paul and Thomas were in the audience – and she had agreed to keep her remarks short so as not to delay more music,” the New York Post reported.

Like in pre-revolutionary France, Pelosi and her fellow out-of-touch members of America’s elite political class are widely loathed by much of the public who view their decadent aristocracy with contempt, unsatisfied with the fistful of crumbs thrown to them from their table.
