Elie Mystal, a notoriously bigoted black man, believes that it’s “conservative white folks” who turn violent “when they don’t get their way.”
Mystal, a staunch supporter of the violent liberal Black Lives Matter movement, offered this unusual take during an appearance Saturday on MSNBC’s “The Cross Connection,” which is hosted by a woman as bigoted as him.
Listen:
What exactly did he base his opinion off of, though? Mainly former President Donald Trump’s innocuous warning earlier in the week that America will likely face “big problems” if he’s one day indicted by the Biden administration.
Like other members of the left, Mytal automatically assumed that Trump had meant violence. Never mind that, when pressed over concerns that he might be inciting violence, the president had made it clear he wasn’t talking about that.
“That’s not inciting. I’m just saying what my opinion is. I don’t think the people of this country would stand for it,” he’d said.

Fast-forward to Saturday, when Mystal offered his take.
“The cause of the problem … is Trump himself and his MAGA acolytes themselves and the people who are willing to do the violence in Trump’s name. Again, I’m not … surprised that he’s threatening this because A, he’s literally done it before, and B, this is literally what conservative white folks do when they don’t get their way: they turn violent,” he claimed.
“As a black man in this country, as a person who was always aware of the black history in the new world, white people turn violent when they don’t politically get their way all the damn time in this country. It’s what they do. And so from the perspective of a black person, I’m kind of like, welcome to the world that I’ve been living in, America.”
He added, “Because now what we have is white domestic terrorists threatening to turn violence against non-white people, against everyone else, if the white supremacist ideal ideology doesn’t win the day and the white supremacist king is held accountable for crime.”
The remarks were met with adulation from the media.
Over at Mediaite, leftist commentator Tommy Christopher wrote, “Elie Mystal TORCHES Trump and Conservative White Folks: ‘Turn Violent When They Don’t Get Their Way – It’s What They Do!'”
Over on social media meanwhile, the remarks provoked widespread mockery:
Imagine this guy—a man who was almost certainly watching the countless Mike Brown and George Floyd riots with a fat bowl of buttered popcorn in his lap—being able to say this with a straight face.
That is some self-control right there.

Wouldn’t he have to make sense or be truthful in some way to qualify as torching. At this point I feel embarrassment for people who are unaware that the overwhelming majority of political violence originates on the left

I was told rioting is the language of the unheard.

As seen above, some critics rebutted Mystal by pointing to the litany of violent Black Lives Matter riots that have erupted over the years because of black suspects being held accountable.
Take the case of Mike Brown, a Ferguson, Missouri thug who robbed a convenience store in 2014 and then resisted arrest shortly thereafter. During the latter altercation, a white officer justifiably opened fire, killing him.
But although the shooting was justified — as even the then-Obama administration eventually admitted — his death spurred devastatingly violent riots. Similar riots have erupted since for the likes of George Floyd, Jacob Blake, etc.
Responding to Mystal’s remarks, critics also pointed to the double standard at play.
“Imagine if someone said this about Obama or black Democrats/leftists. They’re would (rightfully) be cries of racism. When it’s about white conservatives, though…,” one critic accurately noted.
Indeed.
Yet that’s how it works at MSNBC, a national news network that’s comfortable with its hosts and contributors spouting blatantly bigoted, outright hateful remarks about white people — not to mention black conservatives:
Dem pundit calls Herschel Walker dumb & obedient: ‘That’s what Republicans want from their negroes’ https://t.co/e1ub5rHFTa pic.twitter.com/yMHHdqgxlT

During a segment two months ago, Mystal described Georgia Senate candidate Herschel Walker as a mindless “negro” who’s supported by the GOP only because he does “what he’s told.”
“It’s going to be a close election in Georgia because Walker has the backing of the Republicans. Now you ask why are Republicans backing this man who’s so clearly unintelligent, who so clearly doesn’t have independent thoughts. But that’s actually the reason. Walker’s gonna do what he’s told, and that’s what Republicans like. That’s what Republicans want from their negroes — to do what they’re told,” he said.
Mystal’s latest bigoted attack comes only days after anonymous FBI insiders revealed to The Washington Times that the supposed threat of white supremacy has been grossly overblown by the Biden administration.
“The demand for white supremacy vastly outstrips the supply of white supremacy. We have more people assigned to investigate white supremacists than we can actually find,” one anonymous agent said.
But the facts don’t seem to matter to either this administration or its lackeys …
