The total number of encounters with illegal border hoppers along the United States porous southern border has surpassed two million this fiscal year to date thanks in large part to the lax border policies of President Joe Biden that have allowed millions more to bypass border agents undetected.
Almost half of the encounters (920,000) end with a Title 42 expulsion of the illegal immigrant and many encounters have been with the same person trying to evade Border Patrol agents, according to Fox News.
This fiscal year, there have been more than 900,000 illegal “gotaways” or border crossers that were detected by electronic surveillance but slipped past border agents nonetheless. An unknown number have slipped through completely undetected. Despite these numbers, the Biden administration is still aiming for a target of 125,000 refugee admissions for fiscal year 2023 – and that does not include the thousands of Afghans and displaced Ukrainians who have already arrived this year.
Customs and Border Protection (CBP) reported that over half a million illegals have been released into the United States and handed a Notice to Appear for a court date at some point in the future. That number doubles if you count from the day Biden took over the White House. However, it’s been well documented that the vast majority of migrants never show up for their day in court.

A questionable program that purports to monitor the migrants has about one-third of those enrolled in the “Alternatives to Detention” program that may include having the person use a cellphone app to check in, ankle bracelets, or other mechanisms to check in with officials.
Amid reports of the staggering numbers, State Department spokesperson Ned Price announced Friday that the administration will retain its cap on refugee admissions for the fiscal year.
“The Report to Congress recommends a refugee admissions target of 125,000 for Fiscal Year 2023 to address the growing needs generated by humanitarian crises around the globe, including the more than 100 million displaced persons around the world,” Price said.

The Biden administration has admitted far fewer than the 125,000 cap for the current fiscal year that ends Sept. 30.
As of Aug. 31, the United States had admitted only 19,919 refugees, according to U.S. government data.
The figures don’t count toward a different category of refugees: an estimated 70,000 Afghans and 60,000 Ukrainians who came to the U.S. on humanitarian parole.
Among the population of people clamoring over the southern border there have been many people with known criminal pasts such as the 22 gang members and four sex offenders apprehended in the Rio Grande Valley Sector in Texas in the first two weeks of August.

The surge of illegals since Biden took office prompted Texas Gov. Greg Abbott to start busing the migrants to other major cities in the United States like Washington. D.C., New York City, and Chicago in a program so popular he has raised over $300,o00 from citizens who support the cause – much to the dismay of the Democrat leaders in the receiving cities who have blasted the conservative governor for giving them a taste of their own medicine.
Once such leftist who has her panties in a bunch about the illegal alien shipments is two-faced Chicago Mayor Lori Lightfoot who claimed the Windy City to be a “sanctuary city.” But when faced with the grim reality of what to do with the herds of people being shipped to the Democrat-run cities by Abbott, she turned around and kicked a mostly Venezuelan group of around 100 immigrants over to a Republican-run suburb shortly after their arrival this week.
