Even Dems want SC candidate OUT after Veritas stings her TWICE with footage you need to hear to believe

The notion that “Dems eat their own” has become a popular phrase among weary conservatives who have watched with some amusement as woke liberal mobs have attacked left-leaning celebrities and CEOs over pronouns and past transgressions. But when Democrats turned on South Carolina state Rep. and current Senate candidate Krystle Matthews following a leaked racist rant, it felt like, if only for a moment, we were all just Americans again.

The comments casually made by Matthews and caught on audio by an undercover Project Veritas journalist were so egregious, that pretty much everyone who heard them was appalled, and now, even Democrats want Matthews to drop out of the Senate race in disgrace.

“My district is slightly Republican, and it’s heavily white,” Matthews told the unidentified reporter while sitting in a restaurant. “I’m no stranger to white people, I’m from a mostly white town. And let me tell you one thing. You ought to know who you’re dealing with, like you gotta treat them [white people] like sh*t, like I mean, that’s the only way they’ll respect you.”

Sorry, what?

But Matthews, who is clearly too gabby for her own good, wasn’t through. She smugly informed the journalist that she likes to keep her white constituents “under my thumbs.”

“I keep them right here — like under my thumbs,” she stated. “That’s where I keep it, like you have to. Otherwise, they get out of control — like kids.”

“So, you know, like, for me I know other people are tip-toeing around them [white people],” she continued. “And I’m like, ‘Yo, that’s some white sh*t. I ain’t doing that.'”

She also “ain’t doing” D.C., if her Democratic colleagues have anything to say about it.

“[Krystle Matthew’s] lapse in judgment will tarnish the work of countless volunteers,” tweeted Richland County Democratic Party Chairwoman Deyaska Spencer Sweatman. “We will not defend her defenseless statements as we get out the vote; it is best if she, in a show of good faith, dropped out of the statewide race.”

And Spencer Sweatman isn’t the only Dem to call for Matthews — who also went after Sen. Bernie Sanders for “saying white sh*t” to “an all-black crowd” — to tuck her racist tail and run, especially after Matthews doubled down on her statement.

“Aren’t you tired of politicians selling out our communities, spitting on our working families, and exploiting the rights of our women and children?” Matthews asked in a lengthy statement, according to Live 5 News. “While taking community pictures and kissing our babies, our favorite legislators wash their hands and sweep what our community needs under the rug.”

“What would you call that?” she continued. “I call that SH**, and my mother raised me to treat something exactly how it is!”

“So when I stated to that undercover journalist … in that satirical MAGA Powered news outlet Project Veritas, ‘to treat these MAGA Republicans like SH**.’ I SAID WHAT I SAID!” she exclaimed, adding, “Play the whole tape ‘PROJECT VERITAS’ so the people will know who I was referring to.”

“Regardless of race, I love everyone,” she claimed. “One thing you can learn from Project Veritas’ first audio attack on me is obviously, I have no biases towards a certain ethnic group. I expressed my disgust for Black legislators who exhibit the same hypocrisy as MAGA Republicans.”

“This is why I am challenging MAGA’s favorite Black legislator, Tim Scott,” she argued. “Understand I never proposed to be an orthodox candidate. I’m a community advocate who the people favored enough to have me take the seat of a Republican incumbent.”

Yes, you read that right. This isn’t the first time Matthews has revealed her true colors to a Project Veritas reporter.

At the end of June, Project Veritas leaked a February recording of Matthews talking to an incarcerated prisoner about accepting drug money to boost her campaign.

“I don’t care about no dope money, give me that dope boy money,” she could be heard saying. “Where the duffle bag boys?”

According to gubernatorial candidate Joe Cunningham and Lowcountry congressional candidate Annie Andrews — both leading Democrats on South Carolina’s November ballot — enough is enough.

“The Democratic Party cannot and should not tolerate such behavior from our elected officials and candidates and we must be consistent in calling out prejudice and hateful comments wherever it exists,” Cunningham said in a statement, according to The Post and Courier.

Andrews called on Matthews to step aside “for the good of her constituents.”

The South Carolina Republican Party Chairman, Drew McKissick, was not quite as conservative with his words for Matthews.

“Radical socialist Krystle Matthews has made it clear she is unfit to hold public office,” he stated, according to Post and Courier. “First, she called for ‘dope boy money’ and illegal straw donors to her U.S. Senate campaign, and now we hear her advocating for treating White people ‘like (expletive)’ or otherwise ‘they get outta control like kids.'”
