Biden taps ‘spy who lied’ about Hunter laptop to join Intelligence Advisory Board

In case you harbored any doubts about whether or not the Biden regime is hiding the ball, rest assured they aren’t.

President Joe Biden has just tapped former CIA and Pentagon chief of staff, Jeremy Bash, to join his Intelligence Advisory Board, the Washington Examiner reported. Bash is not only an MSNBC pundit, he also boasts the dubious distinction of being one of the 50-plus intelligence officials who signed on to a 2020 letter which stated the Hunter Biden laptop story was a case of Russian disinformation.

The bio provided by the White House sings his praises as chief of staff under erstwhile Defense Secretary Leon Panetta, and his LinkedIn page lists him as the founder and managing director at Beacon Global Strategies, a national security analyst at NBC News and MSNBC, and a member of the board of directors for the International Spy Museum.

His fellow signatories of the now-infamous letter include such notorious characters as Obama CIA Director John Brennan, Obama Director of National Intelligence James Clapper, former Obama acting CIA Director Mike Morell, and former George W. Bush CIA Director Michael Hayden.

“The President’s Intelligence Advisory Board is an independent element within the Executive Office of the President,” the White House said. “The President’s Intelligence Advisory Board exists exclusively to assist the President by providing the President with an independent source of advice on the effectiveness with which the Intelligence Community is meeting the nation’s intelligence needs and the vigor and insight with which the community plans for the future.”

Bash was one of the more vocal deniers of the Hunter Biden laptop scandal when the story was originally broken by the New York Post in October of 2020 and ultimately proven to be true once the president-elect was securely transferred from his basement to the Oval Office.

Then-candidate Biden claimed during a debate with President Trump in October of 2020, “There are 50 former national intelligence folks who said that what he’s accusing me of is a Russian plan. They have said this is, has all the — four, five former heads of the CIA. Both parties say what he’s saying is a bunch of garbage.”

Bash did his part to support that false assessment, too.

“This looks like Russian intelligence. This walks like Russian intelligence. This talks like Russian intelligence,” he claimed on MSNBC on Oct. 19, 2020. “This effort by Rudy Giuliani and the New York Post and Steve Bannon to cook up supposed dirt on Joe Biden looks like a classic Russian playbook disinformation campaign.”

“At a minimum, it’s conspiracy to engage in computer crimes and hacking in violation of criminal laws,” Bash told the poorly-rated Rachel Maddow of the laptop emails at the time. “It’s also potentially conspiracy to engage in election interference.”

Talk about projection.

Konstantinos “Gus” Dimitrelos, a cyber forensics expert and former Secret Service agent, conducted an examination of the laptop for the Washington Examiner this year and determined “there is a 100 percent certainty that Robert Hunter Biden was the only person responsible for the activity on this hard drive” and that “the hard drive is authentic.”

And if you can believe it, Bash was also picked to be part of the Afghanistan War Commission earlier this year.

Keep up the bad work, guys!
