Alleged smuggler taken down NFL style after going toe-to-toe with border agent in WILD video

Video of a confrontation between two illegal immigrants who are identified as suspected smugglers and Border Patrol agents is drawing buzz on social media for one agent’s takedown of an aggressive illegal using a flying tackle straight out of the National Football League.

The video clip, which was shared by Rep. Mayra Flores (R-Texas), begins with a San Diego Sector Border Patrol agent standing over a man on the ground who is covered with sand and has been subdued before panning to another migrant smuggling suspect who is squaring off with a baton-wielding agent.

The migrant acts in an aggressive manner as the crowd cheers him on, turning and advancing on a second Border Patrol agent who is backing away.

Then the video shows a third agent who runs toward the unfolding situation and launches himself at the suspected smuggler, bringing him to the ground with a flying tackle that conjured visions of NFL all-pro defensive lineman J.J. Watt in his prime.

The three CBP agents then all team up to take the migrant into custody as the crowd’s cheers turn to chants of a vulgar term in Spanish from those who were watching the action from the Mexican side of the border.

Twitter users posted their reactions to the wild video.

President Joe Biden’s open borders policies and lack of enthusiasm for strong enforcement have emboldened illegal border crossers, especially those who may have bad intentions.

Last week, an eagle-eyed CBP agent spotted three men who were sneaking across the border in New Mexico disguised in special camouflage garb known as ghillie suits.

According to the U.S. Customs and Border Protection website:

“The San Diego Sector encompasses 56,831 square miles including 931 miles of coastal border from the California border with Mexico north to Oregon. San Diego Sector’s primary operational area of responsibility consists of 7,000 square miles including 60 linear miles of international boundary with Mexico and 114 coastal border miles along the Pacific Ocean.” ”

“The San Diego Sector encompasses coastal beaches and expansive mesas that lead to coastal and inland mountains, rugged canyons, and high desert. Directly south of San Diego lie the Mexican cities of Tijuana and Tecate, Baja California, which have a combined population of more than four and a half million people.”
