‘Absolutely unfair!’ Biological male golfer looks to become first trans woman to earn LPGA tour card

Biologically male golfer Hailey Davidson is making headway towards a Ladies Professional Golf Association (LPGA) tour card after a strong showing in the first two rounds of the 2022 LPGA and Epson Tour Qualifying School held in Palm Desert this weekend.

The Scotland native shot a 70 in the first round and a 76 in the second, Fox News reported. The top 100 players that score under 88 in all three rounds will earn themselves an LPGA Tour card.

For more than a decade, LPGA has allowed men who dress like women to participate in the women’s sport provided they have been surgically and hormonally castrated.

The mother of two-time Wimbledon winner Andy Murray took to social media to blast the 29-year-old naturally testosterone-producing male’s participation in women’s golf.

“No. Not fair at all,” Judy Murray wrote in response to a tweet questioning the fairness and legitimacy of Davidson’s entry into the ladies’ tournaments after surgically transitioning only last year.

“Protect women’s sport. Listen to the facts, the scientists and the medics. This is wrong,” she added.

Many others chimed in to cite the physical advantages biological men have over women.

Davidson sat down with podcast host Lisa Cornwell last month to dispute the idea that people born with penises have a physical advantage over people born with vaginas and complained that people really don’t care about the biological advantage that males are born with but that people just “don’t like trans people.”

“It’s come down to like a fear of trans people in general,” Davidson said.

Last year Davidson lamented the high cost of qualifying school but was confident about having the mental fortitude to persevere as a career women’s golfer.

“I know I have what it takes from being around professional golfers on the LPGA/PGA/Champions Tour over the recent years and staying very competitive with them all,” the golfer whom God created as a man said according to Daily Mail.

“While I know that I have the talent and mental game to make a career out of playing, the initial cost of tournaments and practice expenses is what truly holds me back,” Davidson added.

But not everyone was on board with the gender confused golfer on social media and urged people to get their facts straight.
