A social media influencer with about two million followers is reportedly facing extradition to South Florida on a charge of second-degree murder with a deadly weapon.

On Wednesday, cops in Hawaii detained OnlyFans and Instagram model Courtney Clenney, known online as Courtney Tailor, in connection with a stabbing that occurred on April 3 in Miami.
Clenney, 26, allegedly stabbed her estranged boyfriend, Christian “Toby” Obumseli, 27, a cryptocurrency trader, during a domestic dispute.
“Her arrest was confirmed Wednesday afternoon by her Miami defense lawyer, Frank Prieto, who said she’d been in Hawaii while in rehabilitation for substance abuse and post-traumatic stress disorder,” the Miami Herald reported.
Prieto expressed shock that his client was taken into custody given that they were cooperating with the investigation. He has insisted that Clenney acted in self-defense and that he is looking forward to her vindication when the case goes to trial.

He also noted that Clenney was willing to turn herself in to authorities if criminal charges were brought forth.
“Obumseli attacked her and choked her that evening; Courtney had no choice but to meet force with force,” the attorney also declared, according to NBC News. “We will vigorously defend Courtney and clear her of this unfounded and baseless charge.”
Florida law enforcement authorities intend to provide more details on the case in a Thursday afternoon press conference.
The fatal stabbing occurred in a luxury high-rise apartment in Miami’s upscale Edgewater neighborhood and had been under investigation by Miami detectives for about four months.
Clenney had reportedly called 911 on the evening in question to report that her boyfriend was stabbed.
“She and Obumseli had been dating less than two years, and their relationship had been plagued by domestic strife — she’d once been arrested for domestic battery in Las Vegas, and police had been called to their home in Austin, Texas, on several occasions. The two had only lived in Miami for a few months at the One Paraiso building…where staff members had documented numerous domestic disturbance complaints about the couple and had even moved to evict them,” the Herald recalled about the couple.
Miami cops had responded to a domestic disturbance just two days before the stabbing, the news outlet claimed.
TMZ previously posted a video that purports to be the aftermath of the stabbing incident when first responders arrived at the scene:
“Lawyer Larry Handfield, who represents Obumseli’s family, pushed police to reopen the investigation,” the New York Post reported.
On behalf of his grieving Texas-based family, Obumseli’s cousin told NBC News that “We have no reason to believe this is self-defense. This is one of the youngest in the family; he is loved, he is kind, he is caring, soft-spoken, the idea that this is somehow warranted, is unthinkable.”
