DOJ ordered by judge to respond to requests to unseal warrant in Mar-a-Lago raid by Monday

The judge who approved the search warrant for the unprecedented FBI raid on the home of former President Donald J. Trump has ordered the Justice Department to respond to legal motions to unseal the warrant although the response could be heavily redacted.

Bruce Reinhart, a magistrate judge for the Southern District of Florida directed the DOJ to respond to the motions to unseal filed by the Albany Times Union as well as conservative watchdog group Judicial Watch, giving the feds until next Monday to do so.

“On or before 5:00 p.m. Eastern time on August 15, 2022 the Government shall file a Response to the Motion to Unseal,” Reinhart wrote in a docket entry. “The response may be filed ex parte and under seal as necessary to avoid disclosing matters already under seal. In that event, the Government shall file a redacted Response in the public record.”

“If it chooses, the Government may file a consolidated Response to all Motions to Seal,” he wrote.

The order comes amid intense political fallout from the storming of Mar-a-Lago and mounting questions on who authorized the raid, an action that was so extreme that it is practically unimaginable that it wasn’t signed off on by Attorney General Merrick Garland and the White House, given the ramifications of the targeting of the top opposition party candidate prior to the midterm elections with his endorsed candidates practically running the table in state primaries.

Judge Reinhart himself has been the subject of scrutiny after details emerged of his link to notorious billionaire pedophile Jeffrey Epstein as well as his thousands of dollars in donations to former President Barack Obama.

In addition, a Facebook post from an account allegedly belonging to him was disparaging of Trump who, it was said, “doesn’t have the moral stature to kiss John Lewis’s feet,” referring to the deceased Democrat congressman and civil rights icon.

The FBI raid, during which a team of agents and a safecracker spent hours inside of Trump’s residence, may already have spectacularly backfired on the Biden regime with neither the president nor his attack dog attorney general formally responding on what could have been the rationale for such a heavy-handed and politically explosive move.

On Wednesday, the plot thickened with a Newsweek report that the FBI had a mole operating inside of Mar-a-Lago which raises even more disturbing questions.

While the report – based on information from two anonymous high-level sources – had the appearance of damage control to protect AG Garland who is said to have “had no prior knowledge of the date and time of the specific raid, nor was he asked to approve it,” it didn’t do likewise for Biden who hasn’t even bothered to attempt to hide his authoritarian tendencies.

“The FBI and others from the Federal Government would not let anyone, including my lawyers, be anywhere near the areas that were rummaged and otherwise looked at during the raid on Mar-a-Lago,” Trump wrote on Truth Social. “Everyone was asked to leave the premises, they wanted to be left alone, without any witnesses to see what they were doing, taking, or hopefully not, ‘planting.’ Why did they STRONGLY insist on having nobody watching them, everybody out? Obama and Clinton were never ‘raided,’ despite big disputes!”

Whether the DOJ’s response reveals any real details or is nearly completely redacted remains to be seen.
