Prominent leftists are currently white-knuckling the possibility of current Vice President Kamala Harris seeking the Democratic presidential nomination should her boss, President Joe Biden, bow out of the 2024 race.
“Her main problem is not being a woman or mixed race, her problem is she has low ratings just like President Biden,” Larry Sabato, professor of Politics at the University of Virginia told The New York Post.
“If Biden were riding sky high, she would be doing relatively well as well. She would be seen as a popular successor carrying on a popular president’s mandate,” he added.
Possibly one of the most disliked vice presidents in American history, Harris has performed incredibly poorly in the polls with a majority of respondents in several polls carrying an unfavorable view of her.
Several prominent political donors who spoke to the Post on the condition of anonymity are equally worried about a potential Harris White House run.
“She seems completely useless,” a Democratic benefactor said. “No one involved in this administration should be in the running.”

In fact, Harris’ own staff have been abandoning the sinking administration in droves.
As of April, 11 of her staff members had already announced their departure from the team that had just taken office a little more than a year prior.
A Democratic Capitol Hill staff person admitted that Harris’ leadership is lacking and her only reaction, when questions arise surrounding her incompetence, is to laugh it off.
“She doesn’t know how to build a staff that has a common purpose. You see a lot of her staffers are doing their own thing. There is little guidance from her and it just looks messy all the time and all she can do when asked about it publicly and privately is giggle,” the Democrat said.
“I just don’t think people are seeing her as a serious contender,” he noted. “If she weren’t the vice president she wouldn’t even be ON the list.”
Some view her as so incompetent that she couldn’t even run a children’s sidewalk lemonade stand to bring simple refreshments to thirsty summer patrons.

Others think if she could just stop running her mouth, she might be able to win back support from the left.

It likely comes as no surprise, but conservatives have an equally unsavory view of Harris.
In May, Fox News host Tucker Carlson succinctly summarized her inauguration as the first woman in office as a “low-IQ wine mom.”
“So she gets elected and the country wakes up the next morning and realizes, wait, we just elected a low-IQ wine mom as vice president,” he told his viewers.
“So the administration tried to give her jobs, hey, fix the border, wait, get Russia to pull back and not invade Ukraine,” Carlson continued. “That didn’t work, so now she’s become – and a lot of people do become this in middle age – just kind of a freelance philosopher, she’s like a dyslexic poet with a limited vocabulary, she just kind of bombs around the country emitting words and they’re hilarious.”
But not every Democrat is disillusioned by Harris including political consultant Chris Coffey who claimed Harris is a “role model” to millions of people.
“Kamala is a strong black woman, the first elected vice president,” Coffey said. “Democrats can’t win without having high black turnout. She is a role model and a beacon to millions of people around the country.”
