Star ‘witness’ and her sensational tales about Trump on J6, set off fireworks on Twitter

The advance hype was off the charts for the latest installment of the Nancy Pelosi-Liz Cheney January 6 extravaganza which convened a previously unscheduled hearing at which the kangaroo court would unveil its star witness against former President Donald J. Trump.

On Tuesday, the former top aide to White House chief of staff Mark Meadows delivered the goods with a series of bombshells that were like catnip to the media.

Cassidy Hutchinson was featured as the select committee has struggled to draw the attention of Americans who have largely ignored the one-sided, Soviet-style political dog and pony show, but her sensationalist account of Trump’s alleged behavior provided plenty of juicy nuggets as Cheney swung for the fences, hoping to deliver fireworks before the long 4th of July weekend.

The dramatic testimony from the former Meadows underling must have been exactly what Pelosi and Democrats were hoping for when they brought in a veteran television producer to spice up the otherwise bone-dry proceedings and she let it all hang out, claiming that on January 6, 2021, an allegedly crazed Trump lunged at the steering wheel of his presidential limo “The Beast,” attacked the Secret Service and threw his lunch against the wall, forcing her to wipe up the ketchup stains.

“So once the president had gotten into the vehicle with Bobby, he thought that they were going up to the Capitol. And when Bobby had relayed to him, we’re not, we don’t have the assets to do it, it’s not secure. We’re going back to the West Wing,” she said, referring to Robert Engel, the head of Trump’s security detail.

“The president had a very strong, very angry response to that,” she said, relating a second-hand account from White House deputy chief of staff Tony Ornato. “Tony described him as being irate. The president said something to the effect of, “I’m the F-ing president! Take me up to the Capitol now. To which Bobby responded, ‘Sir, we have to go back to the West Wing,'”

“The president reached up towards the front of the vehicle to grab at the steering wheel. Mr. Engels grabbed his arm, said, ‘Sir, you need to take your hand off the steering wheel. We’re going back to the West Wing. We’re not going to the Capitol’.” Hutchinson added. “Mr. Trump then used his free hand to lunge towards Bobby Engel and Mr., when Mr. Ornato had recounted the story to me, he had motioned towards his clavicles.”

Hutchinson also described the ketchup incident, a great attention grabber for casual news consumers.

She said that Trump was triggered after he learned that former AG Bill Barr denied that there was any evidence of voter fraud in the 2020 presidential election.

“I remember hearing noise coming from down the hallway so I poked my head out of the office and I saw the valet walking towards our office,” Hutchinson told Cheney.”He had said ‘get the chief down to the dining room, the president wants him’  so Mark went down to the dining room, came back to the office a few minutes later, after Mark had returned, I left the office and went down to the dining room and I noticed that the door was propped open.”

“And the valet was inside the dining room changing the tablecloth off of the dining room table,” she continued. “He motioned for me to come in, and then pointed towards the front of the room where the fireplace mantle and the TV were, I first noticed that there was ketchup dripping down the wall, and there’s a shattered porcelain plate on the floor.”

That the day’s testimony would be the lynchpin upon which the J6 committee seeks to hang Trump from was clear by CNN’s featuring of the geriatric Watergate reporters Bob Woodward and Carl Bernstein along with former White House counsel John Dean who had ratted out his boss and has parlayed his snitching into a decades-long career cashing in off of Watergate.

“She gave the picture of a mad king,” said the aged remains of the young reporter who was once played by a dashing Dustin Hoffman in the big screen treatment of The Washington Post’s takedown of Richard M. Nixon.

Hutchinson’s lurid tales had Trump’s critics salivating as they took to Twitter to rejoice that once again, the walls were closing in on Trump with Hollywood and media has-beens and Lincoln Project grifters practically erecting monuments to the newest folk hero of the resistance.

Others weren’t similarly impressed, pointing out that much of her testimony is hearsay and gossip.

However, Hutchinson’s starring role in Pelosi’s production as the newest resistance rock star may not be as historic as the media makes it out to be after NBC News’s chief White House correspondent spoiled the party, tweeting that her story about Trump going berserk in “The Beast” was as legitimate as the “noose” around hate crime hoaxer Jussie Smollett’s neck.

“A source close to the Secret Service tells me both Bobby Engel, the lead agent, and the presidential limousine/SUV driver are prepared to testify under oath that neither man was assaulted and that Mr. Trump never lunged for the steering wheel,” Alexander tweeted hours after her testimony.

The two people who can blow a smoking hole in the entire farcical narrative about Trump are prepared to testify under oath that the limo incident never happened but don’t expect the J6 committee to call another special session to allow them to do so.
