Politico’s inside scoop outing spineless suck-up White House reporters blows up big

The demise of an adversarial press that speaks truth to power bears great responsibility for the current state of America with today’s reporters being a collection of suck-ups and spineless wimps who aren’t fit to carry the notebooks of the real journalists who preceded them.

Politico Magazine is taking fire for a just-published article that chronicles the life of White House reporters who find covering President Joe Biden and his regime to be “boring” versus the hostility that was brought to bear from the press corps during former President Donald J. Trump’s four years in the Oval Office, a jaw-dropping idea considering that the current POTUS has governed in the most radically un-American manner in the history of the United States.

In a sad example of how pathetic the modern-day press has become, one anonymous reporter dished to Politico of being afraid to mix it up with truth-challenged White House press secretary Jen Psaki out of fear of being perceived negatively.

“Jen [Psaki] is very good at her job, which is unfortunate,” one reporter who has covered the past two administrations from the room said. “And the work is a lot less rewarding, because you’re no longer saving democracy from Sean Spicer and his Men’s Wearhouse suit. Jawing with Jen just makes you look like an a**hole,” the reporter is quoted by the outlet.

Politico’s Max Tani wrote, “Gone are the Tweets that sent newsrooms scrambling. So long to the five-alarm Friday news dumps that had editors frantically rearranging weekend plans. Bye-bye to the massive TV budgets for White House specials and the firehose of publishing deals for books about the administration. NPD BookScan, which tracks book sales in the U.S., said that prominent books about Trump released in his first two years of office outsold Biden books during his first year and a half by, what an official there said was, ‘essentially 10:1.’ A newly released biography about Jill Biden, by two well-respected Associated Press journalists, sold just 250 units in its first week, according to the company.”

Sadly, it is an inadvertent indictment of a clueless, self-absorbed pack of stenographers who can’t be bothered to honestly confront Psaki over her boss’s scary mental misfires, his authoritarian COVID vaccine mandates, the weaponizing of the federal government against political adversaries, record gas prices, skyrocketing inflation, anti-white demagoguery, food shortages, supply chain disruptions, the border crisis, the possibility of World War III and most recently, his creation of a Soviet-style “ministry of truth” to stamp out opposition to Democrats and their narrative.

But hey, it’s a “boring” gig.

According to Politico, “It’s not such a bad thing that there’s a new sense of sobriety in the White House briefing room,” said Eric Schultz, a former deputy press secretary under Obama. “The histrionics probably got out of control. It is serious business… It’s probably good for democracy for this to be less personality-based and more about the work.”

Reaction to the article was just brutal as could be expected.

Jerry Dunleavy of the Washington Examiner tweeted an excerpt from the article, writing that “This is the most pathetic thing I have ever read,” especially taking exception to the unidentified scribe’s elitist concession for Men’s Wearhouse, the popular national men’s apparel chain.

“The level of arrogance and self-centeredness in this piece about how ‘boring’ it is to be a White House correspondent under Biden is almost too much,” wrote Curtis Houck of NewsBusters. “Yes, it’s because their friends are in power and thus it’s one massive circle jerk.”

Conservative talk radio host Buck Sexton tweeted, “Yes, the journos tasked with covering the Biden White House- a dementia patient in charge, 40 year high inflation, worst border crisis in history, biggest war in Europe since WWII- want you to believe their jobs are boring now because Biden is so great.”

Others threw in their two cents.

No institution has failed America in this dark period of history more than the media, especially those tasked with holding the most radical president in American history accountable, and leave it to a Beltway gossip rag like Politico to make excuses for them.

  2. As their News Rooms crash and fewer people tune in just to hear their lies. Like “Twitter” they will all be looking for a new career. Once a Reporter is deemed a liar it’s time to flip hamburgers

    Once again mischaracterizing an utterly terrifying situation:

    • The media has not “failed” America. They have admirably performed exactly as instructed.
    • There is no “crisis” at the Southern Border. Everything there is going exactly as planned.
    • Inflation is not “out of control.” It is the direct result of an effort to finally destroy the dollar and, as an added benefit, the middle class (Deplorables).

    Anyone who continues to infer that all these situations are the result of bungling is just abetting the entire scheme.

  10. Psaki, good at her job? If she worked for me she might have lasted two weeks, if I was in a really forgiving mood. She’s stupid, blatantly evasive, condescending and a very bad liar. Considering that she lies and attempts to cover for the worst, most morally abhorent, mentally incapable, thieving criminal son of a bitch traitor to ever demean the Oval Office (managing to outdo criminally weak sister Carter, amoral trash pig liar rapist Clinton, nitwit fool warmonger W, the outrageous racist traitor mussulman Obama (who is still the one calling the shots) reporters should literally be beating her to a pulp every day. They are paid presstitutes who, hopefully, will soon be against a wall with all of the above and the entire illegitimate, traitorous, incompetent totalitarian Biden regime being offered a last smoke.

  12. To those who claim there is nothing in the news that is of interest are excepting of what is currently taking place. Just know that what is taking place will effect every man, woman and especially children today. The largest obstacle is media as whole. Finding factually true information is extremely difficult to find! Essentially, we are left to digging up verifiable material and discern from it what is really going on. When media was held accountable for the article’s that were published, it was not biased opinions or commentary! You read it and new that the information was real. It was left up to reader or person listening to it to connect the dots. The legwork done by journalists who were our eyes and ears. That’s all been replaced by opinion and gossip reporting. I don’t care for opinion of a biased reporter. How about sticking with what is known instead! We are smart enough to do that….. right?.!.?

    1. Jacqui Heindric does a pretty good job too! She’s with FOX also. Both as probing questions instead of the MSM’s softballls, that tell us nothing, other than we are being lied to.
