Fox News host Harris Faulkner was caught in the middle when a discussion on Democrats paying the price for their role in aiding and abetting far-left “woke” extremism went off the rails as her two guests got into a heated verbal spat.
Faulker kicked off the segment by suggesting that it may be time to “stick a fork in being woke” and the Dems could be in for a day of reckoning thinks to “a movement across the nation,” who are “fed up with activist politicians and far-left agendas” and the overwhelming margin of the vote to recall three San Francisco school board members this week.
She welcomed her two guests, former Black Voices for Trump co-chair and former speaker of the Oklahoma House of Representatives, T.W. Shannon and progressive podcaster and former national Bernie Sanders surrogate Nomiki Konst who hosts “The Nomiki Show” on YouTube and selected podcast platforms.
After teeing up clips of MSNBC talking heads decrying the toxic influence of “woke” activists, Harris asked “Woke is on its way out if they’re not careful, Democrats. Why?” Faulkner asked as she turned the floor over to her two guests.
Shannon noted that in addition to the backlash against the cult of the “woke” voters are primed for a revolt against the “Covidian tyrants” and their oppressively punitive measures that many leftists have clearly taken pleasure in and which have been used by Democrats to consolidate power
Konst stewed as Shannon laid out his case for the backlash that is likely coming for Dems, “They did it to themselves when grandma was dying Nancy Pelosi was going to get her hair done,” he said.
Faulker then cited a Washington Examiner article that suggested that House Democrats are fleeing politics like rats jumping off a sinking ship as the blowback against the party’s culture war has built to a crescendo.
After venting about the story, Konst went low, “When Donald Trump was handed the responsibility of really making America the leader in combating COVID, what did he do? He was rallying against the American government and inspiring terrorist attacks on the Capitol.”
Shannon interjected, “that’s not true” and then all hell broke loose.
“No way we’ll pretend like Donald Trump was promoting terrorism. You should apologize for saying that,” he said, keeping his composure while Konst repeatedly tried to interrupt as he rebuked her spewing talking points along with President Joe Biden’s claim that white supremacy is the number one problem in America,
“Young lady, I live it. I don’t have to get paid for it,” he said, which really struck a nerve.
“Don’t call me young lady, sir,” she shot back.
“Bless your heart, ma’am,” Shannon replied.
“I’m a grown woman and you can come up with all the code you want,” she spat. “The FBI said the number one problem in America right now is white supremacy, organized white supremacy” she continued as Faulkner tried to control the runaway train segment.
“Let’s talk about the real issues,” the host said.
