Fox News host Jesse Watters called for Hillary Clinton to be “banished” following the latest bombshell from special counsel John Durham who has been investigating the Russiagate scandal that was concocted by Democrats to take down former President Donald J. Trump.
The new revelations that tech operatives were bankrolled by Team Hillary to spy on Trump before he took office and then while he was in the White House in order to gin-up a bogus linkage to the Kremlin that would serve as the basis for the investigations that many hoped would result in his removal from office have rocked the political world since the release of a court filing last week, scorching Clinton in the fallout.
On Monday’s edition of “The Five,” the co-hosts discussed the unfolding scandal that threatens to derail a possible 2024 presidential run by Clinton and Watters served up a very special Valentine’s Day treat to the former first lady, senator and secretary of state.
“I think Hillary should be banished from polite society. I’m not comparing her to O.J. because, you know, we have no proof that she ever murdered anybody but I would like to see Hillary treated the way O.J. is, you know, he’s not really welcomed places, he’s kind of a pariah, right now. She is a certified political criminal,” Watters said.
He was, of course, referring to O.J. Simpson, the former NFL superstar running back turned celebrity who was tried for the savage murders of his ex-wife Nicole Brown Simpson and her male friend Ronald Goldman in which “The Juice” beat the rap but was effectively ostracized from decent society.
“Her husband has been #MeTooed and has been fingered to have been on Epstein’s island and you know the Foundation was, that’s just like a washed-up money laundering operation, this is what happened,” Watters added.
Watters then went on to allege that Hillary Clinton paid hackers to frame Trump as a Russian traitor. While the Durham probe has revealed that the Clinton campaign had hired a computer technician who had access to private data and reportedly used it to link Trump to Russia, the allegation that Clinton paid hackers to frame Trump has not been proven.
“We now know too that this was happening as far back as 2014,” he continued, “the CIA knew ‘crooked’ was trying to frame him,” using Trump’s nickname for his nemesis.
“They briefed Obama that Hillary was going to frame him, they briefed the FBI that this was a frame job so Mueller was just a clean-up operation to tee up the impeachment and it failed,” he contended.
“…when you look at January 6th and you then you look at this, what did more damage?” he asked. “I mean, think about how many people’s lives were destroyed, how we divided the country, how it made us question our democracy, question the election and our institutions, it ruined multiple Thanksgivings for me personally and I think we need to get to the bottom of it.”
While it remains to be seen whether the walls are really closing in on Hillary Clinton, the idea that Durham is lurking in the background will likely sit like a ball of dread in the pits of the stomachs of Democrats who are already jittery over the prospects of prolonging their party’s domination of the federal government.
