“Open borders” versus a “merit-based immigration system.”
“Restricting offshore outsourcing” in the name of “America first,” versus “incentivizing companies to utilize inexpensive off-shore help.”
“Praising and rejoicing the goodness of America,” versus “pointing out all of the evils of America.”
“Opening up America” versus “placing the country under house arrest,” à la the CCP, in the name of containing COVID 19.
Destroying our domestic fossil fuel industry and millions of high-paying U.S. jobs in favor of a mythical “green energy” initiative that will ultimately impoverish our people in what may be the greatest power grab in history!
The battle lines are being drawn; at “warp speed, no less!”
At the root of the problem is a corrupt corporate media that stands to lose what remains of its credibility. America got a bitter taste of it in November 2020. It didn’t take a media veteran to determine where the corporate media stood on the election outcome. Even Fox News participated, proffering bogus pre-election polls, and staying consistent with the narrative, post-election. Perhaps they concluded that their audience would be unable to distinguish between “questioning the election results,” versus “giving a conservative spin” to the existing narrative!
We must remember that the Radio Act of 1927 and the Communications Act of 1933 affirmed that the “airwaves belong to the people.” Corrective measures must be implemented. It might start by relieving the CIA of oversight of the broadcast media, as specified by “Operation Mockingbird.” Ironically, this initiative was introduced by Harry S. Truman as a safeguard against Communist infiltration into broadcasting in 1947.
The question becomes, “how” did we get to this point? Read W. Cleon Skousen’s “The Naked Communist.” You will have your answer. This book came out in 1958 and describes the systematic, step-by-step process of turning America into a Communist country. We are almost there! Only a 2016 election that was not supposed to happen, did happen.
We have watched the unmasking of the players who quietly facilitated this Communist assault. Starting with Communist Party member John Brennan, the former head of the CIA under President Barack Obama. James Clapper, Obama’s head of the NSA lied about the agencies spying on Americans when facing a Congressional investigation.
Not since 1861 has America been so divided! In reality, we ARE in a “cold civil war.” You can best identify it on college campuses nationwide.
Eight states have declared themselves “sanctuary states.” Which technically places them in “de facto secession.”
When the Southern States seceded in 1861, Abraham Lincoln introduced the ‘10% plan.” He knew that there were thousands of citizens in those seceding states who were loyal to the United States of America.
In swearing allegiance to the Union, these “loyalists” were welcomed back, resuming their original positions as citizens of those states, but loyal to the United States. From their positions as loyal Americans, they would retain their original privileges as Americans including, but not limited to, voting and holding public office.
Could a president declare these eight sanctuary states in de facto secession? Perhaps! After all, immigration falls under federal jurisdiction per the 10th Amendment. In doing so, a chief executive could mandate that the loyalists in these states seat U.S. Congressmen and Senators. Not to mention casting the states’ electoral college votes!
California, Colorado, Illinois, Massachusetts, New Jersey, New Mexico, Oregon, and Vermont have declared their states “sanctuary.” In doing so, they have disregarded the 10th Amendment’s designation, placing their states in de facto secession. Theoretically, loyalists could expedite Lincoln’s 10% plan, determining lawful representation of their state. There is simply no “gray” area in this argument.
Any president would face bitter dissension in enacting such a measure. A lower court might attempt to slap an injunction on such action! Would not the “War Powers Act” provide sufficient authority to at least temporarily, set the injunction aside?
There would be howls and protests from those offending states! Only decisive action by the chief executive could quell a possible violent outbreak. This could translate into implementing those same measures imposed on the Confederate states following the Civil War. This included disenfranchisement and preclusion from holding public office for offenders.
The question becomes, “how fast could such action be initiated and implemented?” All eight states are dominated by Democrats. Currently, all 16 Senate seats are held by Democrats. All eight states voted for Hillary Clinton in 2016 and Joe Biden in 2020.
COVID measures brought increased mail-in and drop-off voting options. As predicted, there were cries of fraud from all corners of the country. Democrats want to make this methodology the standard. Republicans believe that photo I.D. voting requirements will eliminate “cheating” as a path to victory for Democrats. A sixteen-seat Senate swing would ensure the needed supermajority.
Would such an outcome result in the current “cold civil war” going hot?
Possibly, but not definitely. Never forget Sun Tzu’s famous proclamation in his epic book, “The Art of War.”
“Wars are won before they are fought.”
Smart money suggests that the nation, especially “blue portions” of it, do not have the stomach to endure an 1860’s style bloodbath.
Such a development would create an opportunity to hold an Article Five convention. We could “tweak and modernize” our existing constitution without changing it. The main concern would be to bring it into the 21st century. Corrective measures could be implemented that would ensure that it could never be circumvented by technology, as has been recently witnessed.
Upon conclusion, it’s all but a mathematical certainty that Communism would be found wanting. America would rid itself of the current administrative state and its complicit corporate media cohort. With the playing field finally leveled, the outcome will not be in doubt.
“Faith-based national populism” will prevail over “secular, global socialism.”
