Gutfeld destroys denizen swamp Rep Pelosi for creepy reelection announcement: ‘The children… The children…’

With a creepy statement about “the children,” Nancy Pelosi announced Tuesday that she will once again be seeking reelection to represent California’s 12th congressional district.

Fox New’s Greg Gutfeld was quick to mock the 81-year-old’s eyebrow-raising rant.

“Will Californians ever replace the senator with a plastic face?” Gutfeld asked. “She is not quite six feet underground, yet insists on sticking around. But should voters be hostile to another term for this foss-ile?”

“Nancy Pelosi asked the question everyone had been asking, other than when will she fight Highlander?” he continued. “This week, the eyebrow monster announced she is running for reelection. But look, if that rock they killed the dinosaurs didn’t get her, then neither will the 2022 midterms.”

And the hits just kept on coming:

“She first went to Congress in 1987 — the year I was born– and has been the top Dem in the House since 2003,” Gutfeld said. “Nancy made the announcement on Twitter with the technical help from someone one-eighth her age and asked herself, ‘What are the three most important issues facing Congress?'”

And that’s when Nancy told us, “When people asked me, ‘What are the three most important issues facing the Congress?’ I always say the same thing: Our children, our children, our children.”

Really, Nancy?

Back in November, Pelosi was widely criticized for attending a lavish wedding maskless, while all the children in her district were forced to mask up.

Gutfield wasn’t buying it, either.

“‘Our children our children, our children,'” he said, dripping in sarcasm. “The last time I heard that it was from a parent filing the police report outside CNN.”

“But when she is in the arena, does she take a punch or throw a punch for the children?” he asked.

“When you are in the arena, you have to be able to take a punch or throw a punch for the children,” Pelosi said, with a plastered-on smile.

“Awwwww,” Gutfied responded. “No wonder she always sounds like she has a concussion.”

The focus then switched to how “crucial” this election is for the nation.

“Nothing less is at stake than our democracy,” Pelosi warned. “But as we say, we don’t agonize, we organize, and that is why I am running for reelection to Congress.”

“But what is this obsession with children?” Gutfield asked. “And why won’t you just call it quits?”

And that’s when the show went full SNL, with frequent guest, Kat Timpf, stepping in with a bang-on, eyebrow-raising impression of the aging politician: “When I first announced I would be running for Congress, it raised a lot of eyebrows. Specifically my own. Above my face.”

“What keeps me coming back like a looter to his favorite Walgreens?” Kat-as-Nancy asked. “The children. The children. The children.[creepy voice] The children… The children… I am going to keep serving the children even as their parents pack up a U-Haul and move out of the state.”

“What’s the point of using your power to enrich yourself if you never take any time to chill out to enjoy the spoils of your little scam?” Timpf asked following the segment.

The spoof quickly went viral, to rave reviews on Twitter:
