Donald Trump Jr. is calling for the revocation of the law license of New York’s far-left attorney general.
Democrat AG Letitia James, who campaigned for her office in 2018 in part on a vow to investigate President Trump and his family’s business transactions, made a splash on Twitter by claiming that her office has “uncovered significant evidence indicating that the Trump Organization used fraudulent and misleading asset valuations on multiple properties….”
James is going to court to force Trump Jr. and sister Ivanka Trump, as well as their father, to testify as part of the probe, a development which is making the corporate media and the blue-check brigade quite happy.
“America’s most corrupt AG won’t even directly respond to our motions about her political targeting of my family because she knows her actions are indefensible. This is nothing more than political retribution from her on behalf of the entire Dem Party. She should be disbarred!,” Trump Jr. wrote on Twitter.
Attached to his tweet was a short video clip that highlights James’ apparent obsession with his dad.

Eric Trump also weighed in on what he considers misplaced priorities:
“New Yorkers: When you see women pushed to their death in front of Subway cars, when children are shot in the middle of Times Square, know that the Cy Vance and Letitia James prioritized investigating Trump over fighting crime. They are responsible for the mess that is New York.”

“James on Tuesday filed a motion seeking a court order to compel the three family members to appear for sworn testimony as required by subpoenas that have been issued to the Trumps by her office. The attorney general’s action came in response to an earlier motion filed by Trump and the two children to quash the interviews with the AG’s office,” the New York Post reported.
A legal complaint, or a motion in pending matter, is just a one-sided narrative, so the Trump legal team will no doubt respond forcefully to this latest salvo and exercise all available procedures that are part of due process.
Given how the law has often been weaponized, particularly against Republicans, including various examples of selective enforcement, the Trumps are not taking this lightly.
Indeed, the Trump Organization responded, in part, that James’ “allegations are baseless and will be vigorously defended.”

From the MAGA point of view, this appears to be another attempt — along with the partisan January 6 committee — to prevent the elder Trump from running for president in 2024, a contest which given the many failures of the Biden administration (or Biden regime, as some call it), he could win.

On December 20, 2021, former President Trump sued Letitia James in Albany, New York, federal court in attempt to try to stop the two-year-plus probe into his organization in what he considers a politically motivated witch hunt.
NEW!
President Donald J. Trump:

James’ investigation into fellow Democrat Andrew Cuomo’s nursing home coverup and sexual harassment allegations led to the latter resigning from office in disgrace. Although that is to her credit to some degree, the ambitious politician was also angling to succeed Cuomo in the executive chamber.
Her run for governor was short-lived, perhaps because Cuomo’s successor Kathy Hochul, the former lieutenant governor, is way ahead in the Democrat primary polling. James reversed course and decided instead to seek reelection to her current office.
