Former congressional Democrat Tulsi Gabbard (D-HI) slammed President Joe Biden’s polarizing rhetoric on Friday, explaining that he is “pouring fuel on the flames of divisiveness” and is not carrying out his promise to unify the country.
“Unfortunately, the opposite is true,” Gabbard said on Fox News’ “Hannity.”
“Not only is one not carrying out that promise, he is literally doing the exact opposite, rapidly carrying our country in the wrong direction, tearing us apart, pouring fuel on the flames of divisiveness,” she added.
“It just really makes me wonder how we can go through three more years of this, and still come out the other end with the possibility of being able to come together again as Americans, as the United States of America,” said the 2020 presidential candidate who dropped out of the race and endorsed Biden at the time.
Biden promised to unite our country. Instead he betrayed us, pouring fuel on the fire of divisiveness, tearing our country apart. Biden compares those who disagree with him to racists, traitors & enemies, & has his AG target Americans as domestic terrorists. Unfit to lead. pic.twitter.com/zeYBRv0bMB

Reciting only part of the laundry list of failures of the Biden administration from the record inflation to his failed vaccine mandate policies host Sean Hannity asked Gabbard if she thought any of his policies were working.
“Do you see – as a Democrat – are any of these policies working? Am I missing something that’s successful?” Hannity asked.
“Well, what I see is people are struggling,” Gabbard explained. “And you can understand how people are frustrated and even angry at the fact that our government is failing us. And one of the most disturbing things I see coming out of this administration is how president Joe Biden has his attorney general targeting Americans as domestic terrorists for being quote, unquote, ‘anti-authority.’”
Gabbard called out the persecution of Jan. 6 protestors who entered the Capitol Building as being targets simply because they disagree with Biden’s policies.
“What is so extremely dangerous about this, Sean, is that the president of the United States is the authority here in America,” she continued. “And so, if our president is targeting Americans for being quote, unquote ‘anti-authority,’ what they’re really saying is, ‘You are an enemy of the state if you are against the president or his policies.’”
Hillary’s calling tens of millions of Americans deplorables was divisive & disgusting. But Biden has gone further, calling those who disagree with his actions & policies domestic enemies, traitors, and racists. “This is the foundation of authoritarianism and it’s the message that is received by people at home is, if you’re gonna target to me for being against your policies as the president, there will be consequences and, therefore, what are people to do?” Gabbard claimed. “To shut up, step back and fall in line. And this is unacceptable in our democracy and must not go unchecked.”
Despite having backed radical leftist Bernie Sanders in the 2016 presidential race, Gabbard’s message of unity resounded with many people on social media calling for a presidential ticket of monumental proportions.
Is there a way we could bring together an unbeatable ticket of DeSantis / Gabbard or vise versa for 2024?
I’m done with the crazy, the division, the talking down.
You two make so much sense to me.
Thank you for fighting for our country Tulsi.

You really need to convert to the good side. Tulsi/DeSantis on a ticket together would be unbeatable
