In what might give an alternative meaning to the phrase mean business, Glenn Beck claims that the globalist oligarchs who regularly meet and greet in enclaves such as the World Economic Forum in Davos, Switzerland, are allegedly plotting a takeover of the West using CCP-controlled China as their model.
The end game, according to Beck, is to exert “fascist” rule over virtually every aspect of life.
The Blaze boss, who has been accused by critics of being a conspiracy theorist, says that the warning set forth in his new book “The Great Reset: Joe Biden and the Rise of Twenty-First-Century Fascism,” is not a conspiracy theory, and most significantly, it’s the most important book he’s ever authored (or in this instance, co-authored with Justin Haskins of the Heartland Institute).
In an appearance on “Tucker Carlson Tonight” on Tuesday evening, Beck told the Fox News host that the content on this particular episode, and by extension others that chronicle dramatic changes in the country that the left is trying to orchestrate or has orchestrated, resonated with the theme of the book.

“It explains why the schools are tracking with the DOJ, why [Dr. Anthony] Fauci with the vaccine mandates, why Fauci is hiding his relationship with big pharmaceutical, our gas prices, the First Amendment rights, the January 6 people being set up by the FBI,” Beck asserted.
“This is the most important book…I have written, this is the most important topic of my career, and I think this is the most important topic in the world today. The Great Reset is not a conspiracy theory.
“It is something that the Davos people have put together along with the World Economic Forum, and it is running rampant through every Western capital and every Western country,” Beck alleged.
Beck, who used to anchor a show on Fox News in the time slot that now belongs to “The Five,” went on to claim that public health officials in the state of Washington are considering the possibility of an involuntary quarantine for those who are noncompliant with COVID-19 protocols.
“This is an internment camp. Washington state has done it before; they haven’t obviously learned their lesson from World War II,” Beck asserted in a callback to the abhorrent practice targeting Japanese-Americans that was enforced during the Second World War.
“This again is all about total and complete control,” Beck declared, holding up his book, which he said was heavily footnoted to original sources.
“I was wrong; for a long time, I thought this was about socialism. It is not. It is a brand of fascism, Socialism and communism — the state and the people own everything. That’s not what’s coming. If you want to understand why our corporations are saying that they have to have these ‘teach white people how bad they are,’ why they’re condemning the United States, but not China, because China is the new global model…”
“This is not an American problem. This is the entire West going away by 2030…the World Economic Forum just war-gamed that next economic collapse. I think that’s coming in the next couple of years. I could be wrong, I usually am on timing, but when that happens, it is lights out. It is over,” he warned.
“They will control your food, your water, your work, your education, your banking, your money, gasoline,” Beck continued.
“France is just now paying a rate increase for their electricity of 45 percent because of the Great Reset. They are shutting down their nuclear power plants, and it’s going to cause a 45 percent increase in energy. They are going to bankrupt the entire West, and only the elites are going to be able to have money, the food they want, the jobs they want, et cetera, et cetera. We will be left in the dust. We must educate ourselves right now,” Beck concluded in the ominous segment.
Carlson punctuated the conversation by noting that his team has not yet been able to verify Beck’s Washington state allegation but will continue to look into it. “Obviously, things have happened in the last two years we never would have imagined are true,” he admitted, “so, of course, our minds remain open.”
There was a time when the left was skeptical of corporate America as well as multinational business organizations. Now, it seems, the left is corporate America.
Beck’s gloomy forecast may or may not be accurate but, in the context of the theme that he is outlining, it might also be why defeating America First President Donald Trump’s bid for a second term in 2020 was extraordinarily prioritized by the establishment.
“An international conspiracy between powerful bankers, business leaders, and government officials; closed-door meetings in the Swiss Alps; and calls for a radical transformation of every society on earth — ‘The Great Reset’ sounds like it is one henchman-with-an-eyepatch away from being the plot for the next James Bond movie. But ‘The Great Reset’ is not a work of fiction,” publisher Forefront Books explained in promotional materials for Beck’s book, which is currently the number-one bestseller on Amazon.
