Florida residents put ‘woke’ New Yorkers on notice with windshield notes urging them to GO BACK home

While conservatives celebrate the mass exodus from blue states such as New York and California to red states such as Idaho and Florida, not everyone is feeling the love.

One particularly peeved resident of Florida has taken to leaving warning messages on the windshields of vehicles marked with New York license plates. The request is simple, if you’re “woke” then go home.

“If you are one of those ‘woke people — leave Florida. you will be happier elsewhere as will we,” the letter reads in its entirety.

Naturally, this activity was eventually reported to the police as some deemed it “threatening” in nature. However, the police investigated the incidents and determined that while they may be “uncivil” they are not violations of the law.

“Residents were concerned about the lack of civility and respect for personal property. We understood that concern and that’s why we started to look into the matter but we determined … it was non-criminal in nature,” remarked Palm Beach Police Captain William Rothrock in a statement to the New York Post. “As uncivil as it may be and not characteristic of our community, it is not a crime.”

One New Yorker who has relocated to Palm Beach took offense to the letter and claimed that somehow, it means that democracy is in peril. Perhaps the exact mindset that this unnamed citizen is hoping to turn away from his state.

“America was founded on freedom of religion and thought,” said the new Palm Beach resident, who chose not to be identified. “We have seen that there are many people willing to follow through on such dangerous and threatening messages. This behavior is another sign that our democracy is in peril.”

While some are outraged by the note, others believe in what it says:
