Israeli McDonald’s reportedly won’t allow customer to purchase food without ‘green certificate’

Filmmaker Mike Cernovich became very concerned after sharing a video on Twitter that purports to show a McDonald’s in Israel prompting customers to show a valid “green certificate” or be denied the ability to order food.

He then connected the subject of the video to the happenings of which the Bible foretold, though not everyone was on board with what he was inferring.

Regardless, it was enough to outrage many.

“When you want to place your order on this screen over here, the way it works is like this,” the man in the video explains. “You click ‘English’, and now it says ‘in order to proceed with the order you must confirm that you have a valid green certificate.'”

According to the Ministry of Health’s website, a “green certificate” or “green pass” is effectively a vaccine-related document not unlike a “vaccine passport” that is required in the country of Israel to obtain certain privileges, such as – apparently – ordering at McDonald’s.

The man then continues on to inform the machine that he does not have the requisite material, which shockingly goes back to the front page without allowing him to order.

“Sounds like Nazi Germany, but that’s where we’re at. Welcome to Israel,” the man concludes. It’s not clear whether or not he actually has a “green certificate” or if he was able to order food after the video ended.

This was enough to get Twitter users fired up, and the responses were predictably mixed:
