Devin Ratray, who played “Buzz” in the beloved Christmas film franchise “Home Alone,” was arrested Wednesday in Oklahoma City on charges of domestic violence.

The 44-year-old former child actor reportedly “turned himself in and was processed through and bonded out,” the Oklahoma City Police Department confirmed to Fox News.

Ratray had been in Oklahoma with his girlfriend earlier in December for an appearance at the OKC Pop Christmas Con. He allegedly got angry with his girlfriend while the two were imbibing at a bar because she had given out autographs of the actor to a pair of fans, free of charge.

The argument reportedly continued back at the couple’s hotel room where Ratray allegedly pushed his girlfriend onto the bed and proceeded to strangle her.

“This is how you die,” Ratray allegedly told his girlfriend, according to a report by authorities obtained by KFOR.

“[The] victim had trouble breathing while she was being strangled and while the defendant’s hand was over her mouth,” the report stated. The girlfriend managed to break free by biting Ratray’s hand, and it is alleged that he punched her in the face at that point.

Ratray’s girlfriend told authorities after the incident that he had consumed a bottle of wine and 10 shots of liquor at two different bars the pair had visited that night.

The woman presented at the time of the incident with multiple injuries including bruising under her left eye, marks under her right eye, marks above the left side of her lip, a bruise on her chest and a sore arm, according to the outlet.

Ratray paid a bond of $25,000 and was released. He denies any wrongdoing and claims that he never physically harmed his girlfriend.

“Mr. Ratray denies he ever laid a hand on her or did anything in regards to anything like that,” Ratray’s attorney Scott Adams said.

“What we do know happened was the individual he was with and he was from out of town (and) got into a disagreement. She called the police eventually. They showed up at the scene and two patrol officers talked to Mr. Ratray. They talked to the female. They didn’t see anything that they thought was sufficient enough to place him under arrest or take him into custody.”

Ratray is best known for appearing in “Home Alone” and “Home Alone 2: Lost in New York” as Buzz, the older brother of Macaulay Culkin’s character Kevin McCallister. He has reprised the role as an adult in Disney+’s “Home Sweet Home Alone,” which debuted on the streaming platform in November. In the reboot, he is now a police officer monitoring a wealthy neighborhood for suspicious activity.

He has also had cameos in television series like “Third Watch,” “Law & Order,” “The Good Wife” and “Mosaic.” More recently he appeared in the crime comedy-drama “Hustlers” alongside the likes of Jennifer Lopez and Julia Stiles, and in the film “Kimi” with Zoe Kravitz and Erika Christensen.
