White House press secretary Jen Psaki wants you to believe that the Congressional Budget Office doesn’t know what it’s talking about.
During a press briefing on Monday, she took on the CBO’s analysis that the Biden administration’s pet project, the Build Back Better bill, could potentially increase the United States’ deficit by a massive $3 trillion in the next ten years if the current temporary provisions become permanent.
This is a whole lot more than the “zero dollars” that Biden and co. confidently tried to sell to the American people as the cost of his legislation.
“It’s important to understand that when anybody raises the question about this ‘new CBO score,’ it is a fake score about a bill that doesn’t exist. And we should really focus on the actual bill that everybody’s going to vote on and considering in Congress,” Psaki stated, making sure to include plenty of air quotes so everyone knew just how serious she was about it not being real.

Naturally, telling people not to believe their own eyes and ears doesn’t go over that well, especially when it comes to the future of the free world:
The bill doesn’t exist, but focus on the actual bill.

I wonder what the people that put the CBO together have to say about that???

If the bill doesn’t exist–how can anyone focus on the actual bill. Hello?

So House leadership proposed a “fake bill” for the membership to consider?
Is this part of the “we have to pass it to find out what’s in it” procedure overseen by the Speaker?

She can call it whatever she wants. Manchin knows it’s correct since there’s no way the programs wouldn’t be extended and if so there wouldn’t be any corresponding funding. Ergo = unpaid for.
And if it gets him to vote no then great.— John Escover 🇺🇸 (@jdub2444) December 13, 2021
Peppermint Patty are you misinformed or are you just lying?

She believes her own fantasies. Honesty is not her forte.

And what is with the fingers?
— BettyBoo (@katieohara18) December 13, 2021
Honey put your finger scissors back in your pocket and stop trying to “word smith” the situation. BBB comes at a huge dollar cost that will result in more $ printing and hyper inflation. Biden can’t even say Build Back Better much less understand it.
