A bizarre new statue in front of the United Nations headquarters in New York City has set off major social media buzz with many drawing biblical comparisons while others just find it to be strangely out of place.

Some on Twitter have likened the monument to a beast from the book of Revelations in the New Testament, a symbol of the end of times and the fanged hybrid of a winged creature is so frightful that its not difficult to imagine that some religious believers would find it to be of demonic nature.

The UN is very proud of their disturbing new piece of artwork, sending out an image of what it describes as “a fusion of jaguar and eagle” from its Twitter page last month, writing that it was donated by the Government of Oaxaca, Mexico and was created by artists Jacobo and Maria Angeles.

With wars, rumors of wars, widespread corruption, pestilence, and disease along with the ominous exploitation of COVID by global interests to serve as a basis for vaccine passports that will be essential to buy and sell and participate in daily existence already being likened to biblical prophecy, it’s understandable that an open display of such a monstrosity would give people of faith the willies.

Twitter users reacted.

The UN’s “guardian for international peace and security” joins other peculiar oddities that have drawn much attention on the internet over the years, including the infamous Denver Airport murals and the Georgia Guidestones, both of which have led to much speculation that they are hidden messages fraught with sinister intent.
