LeBron James responded to a fellow NBA player’s political statement about the superstar’s fealty to China in his typical arrogant fashion, making it all about himself and refusing to acknowledge the real issues.

The league, which has mounted a full court press on behalf of the Marxist-inspired Black Lives Matter movement with its in-your-face “woke” virtue signaling through social justice activism, has been silent on the horrific abuses of the Chinese government, especially towards ethnic Uyghurs who are subjected to unspeakable cruelty and repression, a hypocrisy largely rooted in money with China being the NBA’s largest market.

Taking exception with James kowtowing to the communists is Boston Celtics center Enes Kanter, a Turkish-American who was so appalled at the refusal of the league’s premier player to use his celebrity status to take a stand against human rights atrocities that he took to Twitter to call out King James in a scathing message blasting him for a “sad & disgusting” double standard when it comes to China.

Kanter tweeted “Money over Morals for the “King” who he said really does “shut up & dribble” when Big Boss says so” with an emoji of a Chinese flag. He added, the taunt “Did you educate yourself about the slave labor that made your shoes or is that not part of your research?”

Accompanying Kanter’s calling out of  the league’s scowling front man were images of the sneakers that he planned to wear for Friday’s game between the Celtics and James’ Los Angeles Lakers depicting the kneeling “King” having a crown placed on his head by Chinese President Xi Jinping, a marvelous slam dunking of the multimillionaire hypocrite and self-styled race prophet.

Following the game in which the Lakers were spanked 130-108, James was tracked down by a reporter seeking a comment on Kanter’s very special shoes.

“Lebron, do you have any reaction to Enes Kanter using your likeness on his shoes in his advocacy for human rights?” the reporter queried James.

“Uhhhm, nothing if you know me, I don’t really give too many people my energy,” James grunted. “And you know, he’s definitely not someone I would give my energy to, um, you know trying to use my name to create an opportunity for himself. I definitely won’t comment too much on that, if anything that’ll be where I lay that at.”

He added, “You know, he’s always kind of had a word or two to say in my direction, and as a man, if really, you’ve got an issue with somebody, you really come up to him. He had his opportunity tonight. I seen him in the hallway, and he walked right by…” with the implication being that Kantner is a coward.

LeBron recently tweeted his pathetic commentary on the Kyle Rittenhouse trial, mocking the teen who broke down during what was a malicious prosecution by ridiculing the now-acquitted teen with the snarky remark “That boy ate some lemon heads before walking into court,” hardly the actions of the “man” that he claims to be.

On the flip side, Kanter has used Twitter to advocate for human rights, calling out Xi as a brutal dictator, a stance that likely didn’t sit well in NBA executive offices, especially with the league’s domestic ratings in the toilet as a result of its tone-deaf promotion of the BLM cause, as well as its elevation of an ignoramus like James as its public face, cratering the brand built by the likes of Larry Bird, Magic Johnson and Michael Jordan. A game once promoted as being ‘FAN-tastic” back when sports was a unifying experience.

It is notable that Kanter’s human rights advocacy so infuriated Turkish dictator Recep Tayyip Erdogan, who he once called the “Hitler of our century,” that the regime has issued 9 arrest warrants for him. All of which shows that unlike the NBA “woke” loudmouths, that Kanter is a man who practices what he preaches.

Kantner has become a thorn in the league’s side with his defense of human dignity, especially regarding the persecuted Uyghurs and continues to speak out against President Xi.

He has also been a vocal critic of athletic shoe colossus Nike, last month extending an invitation to CEO Phil Knight to fly to China to tour slave labor camps, also including both James and Jordan who he tweeted to “you guys are welcome to come too.”

While the NBA doesn’t have the ability to issue any arrest warrants, Kantner has recently seen a decrease in his playing time, possibly due to his refusal to be muzzled unlike King James who just shuts up and dribbles when it comes to the repressive communist Chinese regime.
