With the Kyle Rittenhouse case now in the hands of the jury and the evidence in the trial suggesting an acquittal is imminent — at least, in a sane world — the radical left is bracing themselves for the blow of what they will certainly call an injustice.
Rittenhouse claimed self-defense in shooting three men last year during the rioting in Kenosha, Wisc., killing two of them, and even the prosecution’s key witnesses appeared to substantiate the claim, though one can never tell what a jury will decide. On that note, a racial activist in Portland took to social media Monday to call for black employees to be given a day or two off to process the verdict, regardless of what it is.
“Employers, consider giving your Black employees a day or two off after the Rittenhouse verdict. Regardless of the outcome, it’s going to be hard for Black people to work and it isn’t fair to expect them to,” tweeted Gregory McKelvey.

Before you think the tweet is a spoof, McKelvey identifies himself as the “Vice-Chair of the Oregon Dems Black Caucus,” on his Twitter profile. As for his rationale, if that holds true then white folks should have been given at least a week off after O.J. Simpson got off for the murder of two people, including his ex-wife Nicole Brown Simpson.
Conservative journalist Andy Ngô, perhaps the nation’s reigning expert on Antifa, filled in a few blanks on McKelvey, linking to an article about him being “jailed six years ago on suspicion of strangling and kidnapping an ex-girlfriend while he was an 18-year-old student at Oregon State University.” The case was eventually dismissed and all records have been expunged, so it’s not clear how it was resolved.

When a society — see institutions of higher learning — turns out an entire generation that puts feeling before facts, you end up with legions of emotionally crippled people who may be triggered by a possible verdict they will see as further proof of a racist nation.
Of course, this is the product of the propaganda being peddled by the national media, with the worst culprit being MSNBC, a network that regularly airs racist tirades against white people and gives a prime-time platform to perhaps the most racist on-air personality in America, the “angry race lady” Joy Reid, as Fox News’ Tucker Carlson like to refer to her.
Speaking of Carlson, as seen in the opening video clip, he did a segment Monday evening on “Tucker Carlson Tonight” highlighting the insanity of the left making the Rittenhouse case about racism, despite everyone involved in the case being white, suggesting that the real lesson here is that Americans don’t have the right to defend themselves.
“That’s the whole point of this whole proceeding so the next time BLM [Black Lives Matter] sweeps into your town, your neighborhood, your house to burn and loot and brandish weapons, you had better not try to protect yourself or your family,” he said. “Do that and we will charge you with murder and while we are at it, we’ll have the national media call you racist.”
A clip followed of a guest on MSNBC spewing unhinged racial hatred against the white race.
“So who emptied the gender studies department and put them all on television all at once? How destructive is this to the country? Seriously. Putting crap like that on television,” Carlson said. “If you are wondering can they initialize anything? The answer is yes, they can. In this case, there is, to restate the obvious, there is no racial angle to the story. Consider the proof that everybody involved in the story is the same color. The only bigot in the scene appears to have been Joseph Rosenbaum, the child rapist… who for some reason kept screaming the N-word. And yet it is Kyle Rittenhouse whom Joe Biden called a white supremacist for no reason whatsoever.”
“There’s no racial angle here,” he concluded. “Everybody is the same color. So if a white guy shooting another white guy is an example of racism, maybe you should tell us how. This is insane. Just so you know.”
Here’s a sampling of responses to McKelvey’s suggestion from Twitter:

Because a white guy shot three other white guys?

17 black people get shot a day in Chicago, but you’re saying they will need a day off because a 17 year old white kid shot 3 white criminals?……

Is this some sort of satire?

Why is it going to hard for black people or anyone for that matter to work. He was charged has been tried and a verdict will be rendered. The system at work.

What’s funny is until I started watching the trial, I was led to believe that everyone Kyle shot was black. Turns out the victims are all white. Who knew 💁🏻♂️
