‘Then, I’m out!’ Bill Maher schools pro-CRT leftist professor on critical race theory con

Democrats were taken to the woodshed in Tuesday’s off-year elections and especially in Virginia where they were steamrolled, largely as a result of a long-overdue backlash over the teaching of critical race theory in classrooms.

Having fully embraced the divisive anti-white, anti-American revisionist history of CRT that had gestated for decades on college campuses before spreading like a virus through nearly every major institution in the nation, the ruling party was the recipient of a wake-up call that Americans are mad as hell and aren’t going to take it anymore.

Rather than admit that indoctrinating young minds with the idea that they are morally responsible for the “systemic oppression” of blacks is electoral poison, Democrats and their fellow travelers are now trying to deny that critical race theory even exists and, if it did, it certainly isn’t being force-fed to impressionable children in the nation’s classrooms.

One notable purveyor of the left’s race racket, the ubiquitous Vanderbilt University professor Michael Eric Dyson tried to run his con on Bill Maher but was smacked down by the host who rejected the academic’s “disingenuous argument” on Friday’s edition of his popular HBO show.

During the panel discussion segment, Dyson tried to pull the bait and switch, claiming that CRT wasn’t being taught in Virginia schools and that parents whom he implied were racists, were really upset that their children were being schooled in black history.

According to Dyson, “parents who were spooked by critical race theory, none of whom can define it, when you ask them what it is, they don’t know, but what they do know is that black people are being centered, their history is being taken seriously, and if you say you’re concerned about history in America, why is it that when it comes to black history, it becomes a bête noire?”

But the “Real Time” host wasn’t having it.

“I find that a disingenuous argument. Because I don’t think that is what people are objecting to, I don’t think most people,” Maher said, “now, of course, there are some places in this country where they will and some people who will, but they’re not objecting to black history being taught. There are other things going on in the schools…”

“Like what?” Dyson asked.

Maher replied, “like separating children by race and describing them as either oppressed or oppressor. I mean, there are children coming home who feel traumatized by this. That’s what’s — that’s what parents are objecting to.”

Now that his obsession with former President Donald J. Trump seems to have subsided, Maher has been an increasingly vocal critic of the “woke” left and has been speaking out about the reprehensible and toxic nature of CRT, which many feel is largely responsible for the nation going in the wrong direction, abandoning a colorblind society in favor of the segregation of the Jim Crow era that was championed by Democrats.

Professor Dyson was relatively subdued during his appearance on “Real Time With Bill Maher,” a stark contrast to his despicable remarks on MSNBC when he appeared with Joy Reid, aka “the race lady,” to suggest that Winsome Sears  – who had just won the race to be Virginia’s first black female lieutenant governor – was a ventriloquist’s dummy for white supremacists.

There is a word to describe those who are fixated on race and it begins with an R.

Maher also skewered the Democrats over their electoral drubbing and the role played by critical race theory.

Democrats are learning the hard way that exploiting racial resentment for political gain is a volatile proposition and sometimes you get burned.
