Special counsel John Durham’s latest indictment has added even more credibility to the long-maintained claim on the right that the Russian collusion delusion hoax and conspiracy theory was nothing more than a Democrat Party-hatched plot.
This, in turn, has further eroded the mainstream establishment press’s already ailing credibility, given as they’d been the loudest proponents of the hoax.
As previously reported, this week Durham indicted Igor Danchenko, a former researcher at the left-wing Brookings Institution, on five counts of lying to the FBI.
It turns out Danchenko was Christopher Steele’s primary source for the debunked, fraudulent dossier on former President Donald Trump.
Moreover, Danchenko is linked directly to Trump’s 2016 electoral opponent, Hillary Rodham Clinton.
All fingers point to Hillary: Key source for dossier, Danchenko, is arrested. THIS fallout may be huge! https://t.co/97UdSee9qK

The New York Times reported Thursday that “a public relations executive with strong ties to the Democratic Party” was the original source for some of the claims Danchenko funneled to Steele.
The Times further noted that though the indictment doesn’t name the executive, its description of this individual matches “the career of Charles Dolan Jr., who was the state chairman of the Clinton-Gore campaigns in Virginia in 1992 and 1996 and was appointed to a position in the State Department in the Clinton administration.”
Writing for The Wall Street Journal in a follow-up, Kimberley A. Strassel provided further information on Dolan’s ties to the Clintons.
“Dolan has long been in Clinton circles, having served seven years as head of the Democratic Governors Association and state chairman of Bill Clinton’s 1992 and 1996 presidential campaigns,” she reported.
“President Clinton appointed him to a State Department advisory commission, and the indictment notes he was an active ‘volunteer’ on Hillary Clinton’s 2016 campaign,” she added.
This doesn’t seem like a coincidence.
Nor does it seem coincidental that Durham’s first indictment — that of 2016 Clinton campaign attorney Michael Sussman — also involved someone linked to Clinton feeding the FBI fraudulent information about then-GOP presidential nominee Trump.

Some say that the FBI knew both parties were lying but pursued investigations based on the information regardless because they, too, wanted Clinton to win.
Durham reportedly believes the FBI was just another victim of the Clinton cartel.
“Durham’s indictment says Danchenko’s lies ‘deprived FBI agents and analysts of probative information’ ‘that would have, among other things, assisted them in evaluating the credibility, reliability, and veracity’ of the dossier. Again, Durham portrays the FBI as the victims of the Clinton campaign’s efforts,” as reported by Bloomberg, (emphasis added.)
Regardless of the victims, what is clear is that “real crimes” were committed, according to Pulitzer Prize-winning journalist Glenn Greenwald.
In tweets posted Friday, he argued that the “real crimes” weren’t the fictional collusion between Trump and Russia but rather the Russian collusion delusion hoax and conspiracy theory that — he added in disgust — was laundered by the mainstream press.
Look:
The most important source for Christopher Steele and his Dossier fraud — not one of his sources, but *the* most important — was just indicated for lying to the FBI. What we are seeing, again, is that the real crimes were in the origins of Russiagate, spread mindlessly by media. https://t.co/9rLt9WjpmV

This latest indictment of Steele’s main source is finally provoking some self-examination and self-critique from key media outlets behind the Russiagate fraud, including this tentative but still significant concession from the @washingtonpost:https://t.co/wpAzbnOtgq

NYT & WashPost showered themselves with Pulitzers for their monomaniacal obsession with Russiagate. Even after Mueller admitted he could find no evidence to establish the conspiracy and indicted *nobody* for it, they persisted. We’ll see what they do now:https://t.co/CLYp0rgZM6

For anyone now trying to claim that the now-fully-obliterated-and-exposed Steele Dossier fraud was not centrally featured as a key part of Russiagate by corporate media, see this thread, complete with links and citations that prove otherwise:https://t.co/W2glcWTaAE

His beef is clearly primarily with the media.
But for the Republican Party, particularly those in the party loyal to Trump, the beef is with the apparent mastermind behind the hoax: Hillary Clinton.
“The purpose was to present the FBI with oppo-research that masqueraded as ‘intelligence,’ and it worked. Mrs. Clinton lost the election, but the Russia tale sabotaged an incoming President with relentless media assaults and a special counsel investigation. The country spent years obsessing over the Trump conspiracy that didn’t exist—rather than the Clinton conspiracy that did,” The Wall Street Journal’s conservative editorial board noted Friday.
Which of course leads to the question on every conservative’s mind: When will it be Clinton’s turn to finally face the hand of justice?
The circularity in Russiagate is truly breathtaking b/t Clinton campaign including oppo researchers and friendly conduits in and out of government, the media, the Deep State, and the FISC. Pray this is the mere beginning of a Special Counsel that prosecutes every criminal actor
