Christian rapper Bryson Gray alerted his fans on Twitter Thursday that his latest viral rap video, “Let’s Go Brandon,” was deleted from YouTube due to “medical misinformation.”
The song from the self-proclaimed “most censored rapper in America” is critical of the pandemic response, President Joe Biden, and the botched Afghanistan withdrawal. Gray ironically raps in the first verse, “if you ask questions ’bout the vax, then they gonna ban us.”
The chorus repeats “Let’s go, Brandon,” and reiterates that “when you ask questions, they start bannin’.”
And ban him they did.
“YouTube has banned ‘Let’s Go Brandon’ song from YouTube due to ‘medical information,’ Gray wrote. “What medical misinformation is in the song? Whoa.”

On Thursday morning, Gray indicated that the version with the lyrics transcribed was the first to come down, but by that afternoon, the music video was deleted too.
“Update: The music video was just banned. @YouTube this is crazy,” he tweeted, tagging YouTube for a response.

YouTube reacted with a tweet indicating they would “re-review” the matter.
“Jumping in – we’re passing this along to the right team for a re-review,” YouTube tech support tweeted. “We’ll share updates once we hear back from them. Appreciate your patience in the meantime.”

Gray expressed his disgust at the hypocritical policies that led to his uniquely clean rap song being removed from YouTube.
It just happened. YouTube banned the music video to “Let’s Go Brandon”. The most censored rapper in the country is one that doesn’t even curse. Wow. I can’t even express myself through art. pic.twitter.com/axMzmJHtLb

One astute response to the ban questions big tech’s censorship of government actions compared to other distasteful content they allow on the platform.
***WARNING: Language***
What I learned from @RealBrysonGray’s “LGB” song being blocked/censored is:
it’s okay for black people to rap/sing about wet ass pussy, shooting each other, doing drugs, and having sex with the devil
But questioning the pandemic response is where big tech draws the line!

The song title and chorus “let’s go Brandon,” references a reporter’s interview with NASCAR driver and race winner, Brandon Brown. The crowd was chanting “F**K Joe Biden,” but the NBC Sports reporter appeared to hear “Let’s go, Brandon.” The term has been popularized as a cleaner euphemism for the chant – even a Florida Representative used the dig at the president when wrapping up a speech earlier this week.

Gray regularly takes aim at the leftist narrative and, in June, he had another rap song “Safe Space” censored by Spotify and SoundCloud.

“CENSORSHIP IS REAL,” Gray tweeted when he announced the ban on Twitter.
