Armed thugs pick the WRONG store when Marine veteran leaps into action

A criminal-minded easy payday turned into a complete disaster when an armed suspect walked into a gas station convenience store and got completely jacked up by a Marine Corp veteran, and two thieving buddies took off running.

The incident took place at a Chevron gas station in Arizona, at around 4:30 in the morning. The armed suspect, followed by two accomplices, waltzed in ready to rob the place. They didn’t expect the Marine Corps veteran to be standing right by the door – let alone spring into action and save the day.

Shortly after walking in, the suspect was met with fierce force as the Marine engaged in physical combat nearly instantly, disarming the to-be thief and preventing potential crime and injuries to the store employee behind the register. The other two suspects took fled the scene immediately, without hesitation, not even there to support their partner in crime.

The Yuma County Sheriff’s Office released the video footage on Facebook, but it can be viewed here as well:

The armed suspect was arrested and sent to the Yuma County Juvenile Justice Center. He faces a charge of armed robbery and another for aggravated assault. However, police are seeking help from the public in hopes of identifying and locating the remaining two suspects who took off running once their armed friend was dropped like a sack of potatoes.

The Internet had a lot to say after watching the unidentified Marine disarm the perpetrator in just a few seconds:
