An incident involving a scarlet-haired middle school teacher terrorizing a student personifies why charter schools are so popular and why so many parents opt out of public education, even pursuing homeschooling to protect their children.
The incident reportedly took place Sept. 17 at Mead Middle School, in Houston, Texas, and was captured on a video shared on Facebook by Grizzy’s Hood News. While it’s not clear what precipitated the bizarre confrontation, the much larger teacher is seen physically intimidating a young female student, using her size to effectively corner the student against a wall.
The post caption reads: “Teacher received paid suspension, but it’s unknown if it was over this video. According to a relative of the student in this video, they were told by staff that nothing happened. They then began to see images of what happened on social media. These videos don’t go away and unfortunately the student will always see it.”
While BizPac Review cannot verify that the information in the post is accurate, the video itself does not lie.
“Shut up,” the teacher is seen in the footage telling a student wearing a mask. “First of all, don’t get it twisted.”
The teacher has a mask on, but it’s pulled down below her mouth. And while her actions suggest that this could potentially be the driving factor here, it’s not certain.
The student holds up her hand to keep the teacher out of her personal space and tells her, “Get out of my face!”
“You get out of mine,” the teacher replied, before frantically exhaling on the student, who again puts her hand up in a useless attempt to maintain separation.
“‘I don’t care. I don’t care,” the teacher says, while continuing to dramatically exhale in the girl’s face again and again.
When the student tells her to get off of her, the teacher challenged her to a physical confrontation, “Make me.”
“You want me to leave your class or not?” the student then asked, twice, before the unhinged teacher replied while slapping a desk with each word, “No, actually [unintelligible] sit back down. Sit back down.”
One social media user replied to the post to say, “This is not someone I want in authority of my teenage child. No self control and total lack of respect for their well being. She may want to rethink her profession.”
Another took the opposite approach, siding with the out-of-control teacher: “From personal experience these kids like testing the teachers and sadly they lose their patience then they get blamed for their actions when clearly the students push them to their limits. Don’t come for me because I’m speaking facts. Parents want to try to excuse their children’s behavior.”
As expected, the video was shared across social media, to include TikTok and Twitter. Here’s a sampling of additional responses to the story from the latter:
Yea, I can’t imagine a grown adult needing to act like a child to a child. I can’t imagine what circumstances this is acceptable. Let’s imagine the kid did it first, would it still be acceptable as a response?

When I was in middle school it was against the dress code for teachers to wear jeans. 1991. I can’t imagine being 13 years old in 2021.

I used to be against cell phones in school because kids don’t learn shit as it is but more and more I’m thinking, if it takes down psychotic wacko teachers than so be it.

Don’t worry, the teachers Union will still have her back and make sure nothing happens

You all need to back off
All she is doing is providing cultural enrichment for the young lady
I mean, I feel enriched just watching this

This is the future of public schools, thank god for cultural enrichment

There’s tons of “teachers” who have no business being around children and teaching them. Most are not fit for the job. There’s a reason why we continually rank among the worst in STEM rankings
