Christie rocks ABC: ‘Officially dead and buried’ Biden can’t even stand up to Taliban, forget AOC

For those who have been paying attention, the idea that Joe Biden was a moderate and a unifier who wouldn’t subject the nation to the worst impulses of the far left was debunked immediately after he was sworn in as the nation’s 46th president.

After nearly nine months, it is becoming increasingly clear that the nation’s 46th president is not what was advertised during the campaign, a false image crafted in order to avoid scaring moderate and swing voters in the suburbs, but is in actuality, exactly what former President Donald J. Trump warned when he called Biden a “Trojan horse for socialism” in a fiery speech at last summer’s Republican convention.

Rather, Biden is the most extreme leader in U.S. history, one who has ruled as a dictator from day one with a blizzard of executive orders and who has put his stamp of approval on the ultra-radical Green New Deal, much of which is contained within his massive $3.5 trillion “Build Back Better” spending package.

On Sunday, Chris Christie, the former Republican governor of New Jersey who now plies his trade as a television political analyst, correctly noted that Biden’s moderation was a bunch of malarkey and that he is now carrying out the agenda of the AOC-Bernie wing of the Democratic party.

Appearing on ABC’s “This Week,” Christie suggested that the Democrats are in the process of committing political suicide and that when Biden visited Capitol Hill last Friday to meet with House Dems, that he did away with the pretense that his governing style would keep the extremists at bay during a conversation about the stalled bipartisan infrastructure bill that is being held hostage by the progressives.

“It’s the death of 2020 Joe Biden. When he went to The Hill, 2020 Joe Biden is now officially dead and buried,” Christie said. “The guy who ran against the progressives ran against Bernie Sanders and Elizabeth Warren, ran to be a uniter in this country, ran saying he was going to force compromise. And he went up to Capitol Hill, and he capitulated to the progressives, the liberals in his party.

He added, “And why should we be surprised? He couldn’t stand up to the Taliban. How could we expect him to stand up to AOC?”

The likening of Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, the ideological leader of the new Democratic party to the Taliban visibly rattled fellow panelist Donna Brazile and drew a gripe from Jonathan Karl, who said that Christie’s analogy was a “partisan take” but the point was made.

With Brazile on the verge of a full meltdown, Christie stated, “Did he stand up to the Taliban? Why is that partisan?” – a reference to Biden’s humiliating surrender of Afghanistan to the repressive Islamic extremists.

As is usually the case when confronted with the truth, the former DNC boss immediately tried to make the conversation all about former President Donald J. Trump but score the round for Christie.

Biden’s defenders swarmed on Twitter.

While Christie is right that Biden’s agenda is the same as that of AOC, the idea that it is a capitulation and not a willful collaboration is up for debate. Biden’s rhetoric as president has been as strident as anything that ever came out of Comrade Bernie’s mouth and his Chief of Staff, Ron Klain was just busted for counseling the House progressives.

The most likely answer is that Biden and his handlers’ claims of being the adults in the room were just another one of the big lies that have become the first, last, and only resort of an administration that has very serious plans for America.
