Fox News’ Jesse Watters outlined the demise of our First Amendment rights under the premise of a public health threat and warned that the gun-grabbing left would go after the Second Amendment next.
“These emergency powers fundamentally changed America, just because of a threat to public health,” he explained Saturday evening on “Watter’s World.”
“If you don’t play by the left’s rules, rules that have zilch to do with science you’ll be deemed a public health threat,” he said. “Covid’s not a threat, you are.”
“You’re a bioweapon. You’re an AR-Covid-19.” Watters said.
“The government used the threat to public health and strip you of your First Amendment rights, freedom of speech, freedom of association,” Watters explained, citing that churches were also shuttered and interstate travel hindered.

The 43-year-old author explained that the attack on the First Amendment was just the first chapter of the saga because of the way officials have clung to their emergency powers.
“A virus so threatening, the survival rate was 99 percent. Now that we have the vax, the threat is gone, but the emergency powers linger,” Watters said. “Follow along here, because this is where the danger lies.”
Watters then played a clip of President Joe Biden just a few short months ago claiming that guns are a “public health crisis.”
“Today, we’re taking steps to confront not just the gun crisis, but what is actually a public health crisis,” Biden claimed.
Rochelle Walensky, the director of the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), appeared to take Biden’s lead when shortly thereafter when she made statements that the CDC would take on the “epidemic” of gun violence.
“This is clearly one of those moments, one of those issues that is harming America’s health. Something has to be done about this,” she said.

The CDC will spend an astounding $2.2 million on a “surveillance mechanism” to track people who visit emergency rooms with survivable gunshot wounds.
“They’ll add them up and make their case. And if history is a guide, the government will deem gun violence a public health threat and use its emergency powers to limit your second amendment rights,” Watters said.
“Judges have to hold the line against this coming power grab. The propaganda for the grab has been mounting. The masses have been diluted by it,” Watters explained. “‘Military style’, ‘semi-automatic assault weapon’, otherwise known as just a rifle.”
Watter’s cited the Federal Bureau of Investigation’s 2020 crime report that reflected a massive increase in homicides but questioned the narrative being pushed by the media and officials because the statistics showed that almost four times as many people died from so-called assault rifles when compared to knives used in homicides.
“A fake phrase by the way, the AR in AR-15 actually stands for Armalite Rifle, the brand,” he said.

“You’ll never find fairness on the left, look all you want, you’ll go cross-eyed,” Watter’s speculated, explaining the hypocrisy in the left’s quenchless thirst to take away your rights guaranteed by the Constitution.
“A great example, crazy California released the man who tried to assassinate Ronald Reagan,” Watters cited. “John Hinkley Jr. was a freak who tried to impress actress Jodie Foster, by killing the president.”
“The would-be assassin has been paroled. In less than a year, he’ll be released from all court supervision. Nobody monitoring his meds, travels, or communications,” he said. “So shoot a president in the heart, years later, you’re a free man.”
