Congressional Republicans scored the first out-of-the-park home run in 40 years at the annual Congressional Baseball Game this Wednesday as their Democrat counterparts instead “scored” nothing but panic, boos, protests and a really bad omen for 2022.

The eventful evening began with an unmasked Democrat President Joe Biden being vociferously booed as he arrived to watch the game a bit before 8:00 pm.

The president would later face criticism and backlash for attending the game instead of attending to the multiple crises currently engulfing the nation.

Watch the booing below:

Roughly 30 minutes later around 8:30 pm, a “Florida man” scored the first out-of-the-park home run in over years 40 years. That man was Florida Rep. Greg Steube.

“That was a bona fide major league home run right there,” a C-SPAN analyst could be heard saying after Steube’s stunning hit.

Watch his moment in the spotlight below:

An out-of-the-park home run was last hit by then-Rep. Ron Paul — as in THE Ron Paul — during the 1979 Congressional Baseball Game in Alexandria, Virginia. Paul would later be inducted into the Congressional Baseball Hall of Fame in 2012.

This year Biden was chosen to be inducted, despite his history of flat-out lying about his performance in the legendary games.

Back in July, he “regaled the LA Dodgers” with “a story about him at the second Congressional baseball game when he says hit the ball 368 ft off the right-centerfield wall,” as reported by CBS News’ Bo Erickson.

He also claimed that the game was played at “the old Washington stadium.”

But even the notoriously left-wing “fact-checker” Snopes called foul.

“Biden says that this game took place at the ‘old Washington stadium,’ but that can’t be correct. Biden, who became a U.S. senator in 1973, played in his first congressional baseball game that same year at Memorial Stadium in Baltimore, Maryland,” Snopes reported.

“The year prior, the congressional baseball game was played at RFK stadium in Washington, D.C., but Biden did not participate in that game (as he was not yet a senator),” Snopes added.

Meanwhile, Republican National Committee researcher Zach Parkinson discovered that the president’s score at his “second congressional game” had been 0-2.

Also, the president never made it to the 1975 game but reportedly persuaded local media to lie to the public and claim otherwise.

Two other significant events occurred during Wednesday’s game.

First, House Speaker Nancy Pelosi was spotted having what appeared to be a panicked phone call as the game was in progress.

Watch:

Second, far-leftists were spotted protesting the Democrats. A game can’t just be a game.

To top it off, Republicans wound up triumphant in the end, defeating their Democrat opponents 13-12.

The last time Republicans won was in 2016, the year that President Donald Trump swept into office with a Republican House and Senate.

Combine everything and what do you have?

This:

  • Republicans scored the first out-of-the-park home run in 40 years.
  • Democrats were booed and protested.
  • Joe Biden was given an award and honor that he hadn’t earned.
  • Republicans genuinely won for the first time since 2016.

To some believers, Wednesday’s game wasn’t just a momentary success — it was a sign of what’s to come in 2022.
